Beachfront holiday rental in St Andrews

Perfectly placed to watch the water, plus sunsets and sunrise sky around the Tay River - changing every day! A home from home feel with everything needed to make our stay comfortable and restful. Richard was a great host. We followed his recommendations for eating out and were very pleased - especially the Harbour Cafe for lunches and the evening welcome from locals at the Cobbie Inn. We DID spot a dolphin from the accommodation and, more excitingly, an otter!

I visited with a friend while walking part of the John Muir Way, the property was directly on the route and fantastic for this purpose. Karen was a brilliant host and allowed us access a little early to this great property, it's so well located for access to the beach and local amenities. Parking was really easy, some just for Residents but more than enough for everyone. The facilities were great we had all we needed to cook and eat in house and we were particularly impressed with the toiletries and thoughtful little touches like a spare phone charger plug. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

Jennifer’s cottage is a great base to explore the beautiful Fife coast. The property was very well equipped and there was convenient parking in a free car park just behind the cottage. Many thanks, Jennifer

This is our second stay at Morning Star and we are hoping to be back! We love it. The view is amazing and the cottage has everything you need. There’s so much to do in the area. We used the sauna down at the pool and swam everyday which was incredible. We enjoyed fish and chips from Anstruther but also ventured on the bus to the Kinneuchar Inn which was stunning. We walked the coastal path to Crail tearooms and actually caught some sun on St Andrew’s beach! One of our favourite things though was to hang out at the cottage staring out to sea! Maya and Cameron are brilliant at communicating and look after your every need. We highly recommended a stay at this haven by the sea!

We stayed in Donald’s beautiful cottage for 5 nights. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, nice pub across the road, easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus. No problem with parking. 5 star experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

Seascape Cottage could not have been a more attractive and comfortable place for our group of six to stay. It has glorious views of the harbor from two bedrooms, decor that combines the traditional with chic, a fully equipped kitchen, and a pleasant sitting/dining room. Tea on the terrace was a pleasure. The washer/dryer was a big help. Instructions and local information were exhaustively complete. A quick question was swiftly answered. The town is charming, with a wonderful upscale restaurant, the Shoregate, an easy walk from the cottage. Don’t miss the restored Doocot by the playground at the shore. It is an easy drive to St Andrews, where we were visiting a family member who’s a student there. Seascape Cottage provided a magical and memorable visit for us.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location just off the High Street. Well equipped and lovely modern decor. Great for walking to local attractions and the other villages in the East Neuk.

Thanks to Deyan, we had a smooth check in. The cabin would have been impossible to find without Deyan's clear instructions. The place was squeaky clean and everyone loved it. We did wish we could cut out some plans from our holiday to stay there for a few more days. Absolutely worth the money

Stay at David’s place was great! The area was very close by to the beach. Close to Edinburgh as well so was able to do day trips there. There is plenty to do in the resort as well. The rooms were slightly smaller than expected but didn’t affect us too much.

Fantastic caravan with everything you need for a great holiday. Even had a welcome gift and a few additions to keep the little ones entertained. Caravan feels brand new and has all amenities you could need. Right on the seafront and was perfect Edinburgh marathon weekend as the marathon runs past the front of the park twice. Would highly recommend!

Maggie and her husband were great hosts, we didn't get to meet Maggie, but her husband was a great gentleman and helpful, and we had a lovely conversation with him during check-in. Lovely little home with plenty of space and seating in the living room and the dining area. Smart TV's in almost every room which is lovely. plenty of sunshine and natural light all around. We did check-in on a pretty short notice, Maggie and her husband were responsive and the check-in process was fast. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Place was spotless and lovely decor throughout nothing a miss beautiful and felt relaxed and at home. G was very helpful, prompt responses to any questions/queries.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. My son and I were visiting our family in Crail, so didn't really stay much in the house. The shower was brilliant. The beds were comfortable and the views from the bedrooms were great. We were forunate with the weather so could sit outside and take in the view while having breakfast (note: one of the 4 outside chairs felt very rickety- but not a problem as only 2 of us... and there is a bench for extra seating). The kitchen is small, but seemed fully kitted out. We didn't do any cooking, so can't comment on those facilities (we only found 3 chairs for the dining table. Not that we used it, nor would it have been an issue for the 2 of us). Fiona is an excellent host. The welcome gifts she left us were gratefully received. We would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the studio hosted by Patricia. Everything we needed was provided & it was clean & warm. The location is so peaceful & beautiful , we will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Had a fantastic weekend at Barometer Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and extremely clean, and all furnishings are well cared for. The outside of the cottage is deceiving as the inside is extremely spacious. All the kitchen equipment is top of the range and all looks brand new. Bathroom is spotless and the bedrooms are lovely, beds are extremely comfortable and had such a great night sleep both nights of our visit. Cannot fault anything. Clear instructions on how to get there, get into the cottage and on the link you are sent there are instructions on how everything works. Cottage is close to town centre and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes close by. We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future ❤️

We had an outstanding 3-week stay at Bass Rock Beachside Flat! Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The apartment exceeded all expectations - spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and absolutely breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth and iconic Bass Rock. The peaceful beachside location was ideal for exploring charming North Berwick while offering a tranquil retreat each evening. Comfortable furnishings, excellent kitchen amenities, reliable WiFi, and Michael's exceptional attention to detail made this truly unforgettable. The apartment proved perfect for our extended stay with convenient access to beaches, town center, and Edinburgh day trips. We're already planning our return visit to this gem. Highly recommend this exceptional property for anyone seeking premium Scottish coastal accommodation with outstanding hospitality.

Lovely clean, well furnished cottage - great garden with choice of sunny relaxation areas and great view from top decking and sunhouse. Catherine responded quickly to a couple of questions we had.

My Mum I had such a lovely stay at Dolly’s Place! The studio is beautifully laid out — everything feels thoughtfully designed. The bright kitchen was pristine and had everything we needed, and the decor throughout the space was tasteful, artful, and full of charm. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous, and I have to say — the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The location is also amazing — just a short walk to the beach, or to high street. Dolly was a wonderful host attentive, helpful, felt like chatting with a best friend! We would absolutely stay here again in a heart beat! Highly recommend!
