We had an absolutely fantastic experience, everything worked smoothly, and there were no issues at all. The space was immaculate and welcoming, just as described, and we loved how comfortable and thoughtfully prepared everything was. Communication with the host was great, with quick responses and clear instructions. You can even message the lovely owner personally who accommodated a late check out for us. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, close to key tring (5 min drive) yet delightfully peaceful for a relaxing getaway. From the cleanliness to the seamless check-in, every detail was spot on. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect, hassle-free stay in Hastoe. We’d love to come back!

James was a great host very friendly and proactive , we a slight issue and James came up with a great alternative The house is in a great area and the house was spacious and spotless clean and furnished to high standard. We stayed prior to a flight early the next morning. The property was ideal for us as a family. It was great that our son had his own room. Really well renovated and very clean. Marlon was a very friendly and helpful host. The property is well equipped, from the kitchen to bed linen and various amenities. It was also great access to the airport and made an early morning flight very easy.

Great stay at Chris and Helen place. The house was beautiful and super comfy beds and lovely dining area. We had a great stay! A pub right across the road was a great convenience and the neighbourhood was very peaceful and quiet. There were markets on in the town on the weekend and lots of great restaurants to explore. We cannot wait to come back again! ☺️

Back Door Cottage was perfect for our short stay in the area. Everything had been planned and thought through so carefully and imaginatively. The equipment and facilities were particularly impressive, especially given the cosy size of the cottage. It all worked very well and we were very comfortable. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, but still just a quick and easy train ride into London. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and the warm hospitality. Wonderful location close to London and Hertfordshire attractions. We found Heather Ann's upstairs flat to be very clean, with easy instructions for entry. The hosts are very friendly and were on hand for any queries. Highly recommend as a good base for the local area.

This is my second time staying at Victoria's place and it didn't disappoint. Very clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable, with great surroundings. Victoria was very helpful when booking the accommodation, and went that extra mile to ensure everything went well. Will defiantly be staying again in the future!

Sandra was a wonderful host and was very prompt in answering any queries. Her flat was gorgeous and very homey. It was in a quiet area. However would suggest anyone staying there to hv a car to move around as it’s quite a distant to public transportation. If you hv a car then this flat is highly recommended as parking is free and available.

We had a great stay at Sarah's place. It's tucked away from the road so could have been tricky to find, but the directions were great. Sarah met us at check in and made us feel at home. The apartment itself was clean and bright. There's plenty of natural light and a lovely view over the garden. The living room/kitchen area is much more spacious than the pictures show, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is great to reach the train station and the pub in walking distance was quite nice. The train line is relatively nearby so there is a bit of train noise, but for the space you get, convenience of the location and overall experience, its only a minor thing. The sound didn't keep any of us awake but you could hear the sound of passing trains. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend the place to any friends travelling to the area.

This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

We loved our weekend in Jilly and David’s beautiful property. We couldn’t fault a single thing. The property is immaculate, very clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all amenities thought of. It was a welcoming home from home. We had two wonderful nights of peaceful sleep and woke to splendid views in the mornings. The property sits in the most gorgeous private gardens, with direct access onto an easy walking path through scenic meadows that lead straight to Ashridge House (it takes around 20 mins). We enjoyed meeting Jilly and David, who are the kindest hosts. We really enjoyed speaking with them about the local area and the work they had put into their lovely garden. They were very welcoming as soon as we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. They gave us lots of tips about places to eat and visit with our two children. Bonus points for meeting Alfie, their sweet, friendly, well behaved dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

A great short-stay at Lars’ bohemian escape in Buntingford. Well located along the high street, but facing away from the busy road, it was nice and peaceful. The space is decorated with interesting things, and I paged through some of the hundreds of architectural and decor books and magazines. Clean, functional- I’d definitely stay again. Lars as a host was very responsive with communication and the check in process was well explained.
