Countryside vacation apartment

Cozy 1st floor apartment on our farm, located in rural surroundings. The home is centrally located in East Jutland, 18 km from Aarhus C and 9 km from the access road to the E45 motorway. The apartment has a south/east-facing terrace, where you can grill or light a fire. There is room for four guests with the possibility of extra beds. We have a sweet, child-friendly and calm dog, as well as four tame cats, who roam freely on the property. The dog and cats are not allowed in the apartment.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Holiday in the countryside. With animals and garden.

Beautiful apartment in rural surroundings, located in Søhøjlandet, halfway between Aarhus and Silkeborg. The apartment has a fantastic view to the south and west. You can use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys. REMEMBER to bring your own bed linen, otherwise it is possible to rent this. Payment of this is made on arrival. REMEMBER to clean on departure.

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

A studio apartment (45 m2) with kitchenette and private bathroom on the 1st floor in an older house in scenic surroundings. 10 km to Aarhus C, 3 km to E45 and 2.5 km to a supermarket. The apartment overlooks Aarhus Ådal and Årslev Engsø. Car is an advantage, but there is a bus to the centre at the door and a nice bike and walking path around the lakes and into the city. There is a carport for the van. Here is peace and quiet!
