Holiday rentals with a beach view in Spain

We were in Peter's very nice and modern house over Christmas. For us as a family, the house was very suitable, as the large kitchen and also the large living room in particular offer plenty of space for all family members. The sensational kitchen equipment is also noteworthy. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the building services/heating in the winter time, but Peter was always available and very eager to fix all problems immediately. Even on December 24th, he still delivered a new dishwasher. Value for money is still OK. Certainly, the prices are higher over the holidays, but you also have to be aware that the house is not a detached house with a large garden, but a terraced house, and there are only smaller, tiled terraces in the outdoor area. The proximity to the beach (a few minutes by car), to supermarkets, to Alicante and to the airport were excellent. We would book this house again anytime for a family event.

We spent a week in this wonderful vila which is located in the best part of Moraira, just a few minutes from El Portet beach. The vila itself is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and outdoor space is very well designed so you can spend whole day outside Carmen and Rafa are very friendly and polite hosts who are taking extra mile for their guests! We would highly recommend this place for all travellers!

We initially booked 10 nights at Raul house, but upon arrival, there was unexpected heavy construction noise from nearby which went on all day. Although this was completely out of Raul’s control, he was very apologetic and did his up most best to make the situation better and immediately moved us to another of his properties. While the second house was great, it didn’t quite meet our needs as we had hoped for a private pool and panoramic views like the original booking. Though we only stayed two nights, (one night at each house) we were very impressed with how Rau handled the situation. His communication was excellent, and he was fair and accommodating when we decided to move elsewhere. The original house was exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean with stunning Mediterranean views, we were very disappointed not to stay. Despite things not working out for us, I would definitely recommend Raul and his properties. He's an excellent host!

Excellent. It exceeded our expectations. Both the house and location, cleanliness, and hosts were 10! The house is wonderful. It has everything a family needs to spend a few days on vacation. From the two terraces you can see the sea and the sea breeze is ideal to let you go and relax. We loved the very tastefully decorated and the organization labeled to find everything. Don't skimp on details. As well as hygiene. Spotless. We recommend it 100%!! Thank you Bree and Raül for offering us your home!

The terrace views are fantastic, the place is clean and the kitchen and the living room are very spacious. In the kitchen you will find a lot of useful appliances. The host is very quick to answer and helpful. You get a lot of useful tips before you arrive to the house. Be mindful that a walk to the beach is not an option until you are a fan of long distances, but the view overlooking the bay fully compensates it. The stairs in the house are quite steep so be aware of that when traveling with little kids. The only minus I can find in this house is the fact that after a few (4-5) people took a warm shower, the rest of us had to wait about an hour for hot water to arrive, but it was not very burdensome. Overall, highly recommended!

Our group of friends had a fantastic stay at Casa Barco. The views (sunsets, in particular) are INCREDIBLE! It is very close to a beautiful walking path along the ocean, as well. The pool and outdoor space were beautiful. We spent most of our time outdoors! Bedrooms were all very comfortable and spacious. Convenient location, just about 20 mins outside of Malaga. Highly recommend!

My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Jacques at his beautiful Airbnb in December where we spent our Christmas holiday. First and foremost, he is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and kind. No matter what question we had regarding the stay, no matter what time of day or night it was, his answer was prompt and always accurate. He helped us with restaurant recommendations, local sights to explore and finding the perfect local hiking trails. The Airbnb itself was lovely, super clean and very comfortable. From the wonderful beds to great linens, amazing sea, and mountain views to the well-stocked kitchen, we hardly had a reason to venture out. It is spaced out over two floors so lots of privacy for everyone, as well there is a clothes dryer which is a real bonus in the EU. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely home if you have the chance. We will be returning in the future and thank you again Jacques, your assistance and kindness was much appreciated. J & K

David’s place is in a lovely quiet residential area. There are some great local cafe/bars and for anyone who likes a craft beer or two, there’s a brilliant craft beer bar in the next block along. Only a short walk, about 5 minutes, to the metro and the beachfront. The flat is great, lovely and clean with all the essentials you need. David even left some bottles of water, some fruit juice and milk for our arrival. I would definitely recommend David’s place. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this very special place. The great taste in interior design, the fantastic garden with private pool and ocean view made our stay even better. Loved this apartment—comfortable, well equipped and very clean, great location close to La Latina metro. Would be a ‘5’ all around if Lorena his co-manager could have provided a map we could use to find recommended bars and restaurants (as some of the hosts at our AirBnB have done for me before) and had been available to come down to let us in at the appointed time (2pm). We had to wait on the street for a few minutes. Be aware you have to climb 74 steps their apartment — no lift. Prepared us for our Camino walk. Thank you for a great Madrid experience.

We had a great stay at Joan’s apartment in Calella. The place was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The terrace had a nice view and was perfect for relaxing. Communication was smooth, and check-in was easy. The location is excellent — close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The special thing about the apartment is that it really gives you the impression of being at home, probably because it is also a home away from the owner. We felt very comfortable. Crockery and cutlery were even thought of for our child. Everything you needed was there and was sparkling clean. Thank you!

The apartment - a very spacious and well presented space. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and had perfect black out shutters allowing a great nights sleep. The kitchen and dining area was immaculately presented, everything you could need for a stay. The building - unbelievable sliding doors/windows surround the apartment offering the most amazing views of the beach and sea. The breeze this offers is great and you can also take in the atmosphere from the beach. The second floor views make you feel like you are in a penthouse due to the cliff edge you are on. The private lift down to the beach is a really nice option and add to the charm of the hotel. Also the poolside bar/restaurant and 24 hour reception is a nice addition, with all staff being very welcoming and friendly. The host - Katrien could not have been more helpful and available. We had no issues with our stay whatsoever and would stay again certainly. 10/10

A warm apartment with neat decor. Great for a stay for families or with friends. The accommodation is perfectly adapted and equipped for 8 people. In December, tranquility and beautiful walks by the sea, some restaurants open under the sun and the sweetness of life.

Sonia is an amazing host with a beautiful apartment. She couldn't be more helpful, so quick to communicate, the apartment is spacious and comfortable, really homely and welcoming. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and literally everything you could think of that might be needed is provided. The location is spot on, walking distance to everything while being quiet and peaceful at the apartment. We cant wait to come back!!! And recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a place to stay. It was a fantastic apartment - clean, modern and amazing sea view from the large balcony. Location could not be better right next to the beach and restaurants. We loved our stay here!

We had a great 2-week stay at Susie's apartment. The flat is centrally located to old town and beach. There is a very well equipped super market and a great cafe right next door. Directly to the complex includes a pool that is even guarded with lifeguard. It is open from 12-8 pm. But you should bring beach chairs, or you should lie down on the meadow. Loungers are not provided. Unfortunately, balls or the like are prohibited in the pool. Therefore, we have preferred the nearby sea. If you keep to the left at the fishing port, there is a wide sandy beach. Overall, the apartment is very well equipped and we have filled up. We were disturbed by something that the chairs and the sofa were already very worn. In the master bedroom you could hear the elevator very well, which was also in operation until 2 -3 at night. Still, it was a great stay.
