Outdoor living room with fireplace can be borrowed upon request. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin . Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. A lot of small fish in the river. No need a fishing license.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Her kan man bade, fiske ørret i vannet eller være heldig å se fiskeørn sveve over vannet. Er ørnerede ikke langt fra hytta. Rett og slett et magisk sted i vannkanten. Idyllic annex with view

Here you can lower your heart rate and just be. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Ånesland while still in bed. Take a morning bath right below the annex and listen to the birdsong. Maybe you can be tempted by a canoe trip? Or bring a fishing rod and try your luck at fishing? Toilet and shower are in the outhouse which is about 80 meters away from the annex. Possibility of grilling on a campfire pan, but no kitchen facilities.

Small idyllicly located cottage

Cabin of about 14m2 in Haugenes in Bjelland. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Bath/shower can be used in the outhouse on the farm about 200 meters from the cabin. Bunk bed with room for 2 people, as well as a sofa bed that can be used as a double bed. The cabin is idyllically located by Manflåvann which is part of the salmon-bearing stretch in Mandalselva. Canoe and kayak for children can be used freely by guests at the cabin.
