What a great place! We wanted quiet luxury and that’s exactly what we got. The cottage itself is a great size, very clean and everything you need to cook. Hot tub was a bonus. Make sure you give yourself time to light the log burner to heat it. The cottage is secluded and has 360 views of nature and wildlife. We sat with a glass of wine watching the hares in the fields adjacent. The grounds are very well maintained. The location was prefect with lots to do and see nearby. We walked to the local pub The Providence for Sunday lunch, which was great value and very tasty. This is a 25 minute walk, just enough time to walk off those Yorkshire puds! Being a keen runner the regular Saturday park run at Dalby Forrest is great. We were lucky to catch the famous Malton food market too! We will be recommending & definitely returning for a dose of nature and tranquility. Thank you 👌

We had a fantastic weekend stay at Bream End Cottage. Such a beautiful modern property with everything we needed. The local fish & chip shop was a great recommendation and such friendly helpful staff. We took 2 small dogs so walks around the village were lovely. We dove to East Ayton and had a lovely pub lunch, sitting in the outside area due to the sun shining. Definitely recommend staying at the cottage, we hope to be back.

The East Wing Derwent House is a charming cottage, well appointed throughout, beautifully decorated with local artists’ paintings. A real treat. Beds are very comfortable, and kitchen very well equipped. The views into the fields are breathtaking. West Ayton is a lovely village with lots of local walks. ‘Walkers’ is worth visiting, it’s a delightful fish and chips restaurant just a minutes’ walk from the accommodation. Jennifer was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. We will certainly return - thank you for a wonderful break!

We've just returned from the most fabulous stay at Maria's beautiful cabin and cannot rate it high enough. It's such a special place in a wonderful, peaceful location. Maria was the perfect host and from booking to departure she could not have done more for us. Excellent communication, lots of recommendations, helpful suggestions tailored to my mum who has mobility issues...and really kind with an early check-in. Finding fizz, flowers and a lovely card was such a warm and friendly welcome. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and this gem of a place is perfectly located. Equally it would be very easy to stay put and enjoy the lovely surroundings and stunning views. We absolutely loved our stay there and cannot wait to return. Thank you Maria for a fantastic stay.
