Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Smith Mountain Lake

Beautiful house with amazing views. Plenty of outdoor space in various parts of the property. Very clean hot tub and grill. The house is well maintained and insulated, the vintage decor is a nice touch. Zero pests whatsoever. We will happily book this getaway again.

Loved this house on the lake. The stars from the dock were spectacular! Stacie was a great host and the instructions were easy and clear. The house is comfortable and cozy.

Such a beautiful home right on the water! We went to the SML wine festival and the location of the home was perfect. Host was VERY responsive to any questions we had. I love that she provided coffee, hey it’s the little things! 😊 If we come back to SML I’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a great weekend! Lara & Danny

Jessi’s Air bnb exceeded my expectations! The house its self was beautiful, and the inside was very well kept up! The back deck made the perfect lounging area, as well as the boat dock! We enjoyed lots of sunshine at the dock! Jessi’s communication was amazing, checking in on us, keeping up to date and her response time made questions answerable within minutes! The location of the house is 15 minutes from restaurants which made it very accessible! The house is perched back into a cove, which made it very peaceful and relaxing! I would highly recommend Jessi’s air bnb!

Sarah was an amazing host and her house is gorgeous! Right on the lake and even had toys for our 1 year old to play with. Can’t recommend staying here enough and we will be back!

Peaceful is the best way to describe this retreat. We had 3 generations of family along with our active dogs and everyone had a great New Year’s holiday. The home was well cared for and the setting was serene. Close enough to obtain all the necessary provisions but far enough away that for most of they stay everyone just hung out together. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Great location and beautiful views of the lake. During the day we took advantage of the boat house/dock and in the evenings we relaxed outside by the fire pit. The house was very roomy with several places to entertain and relax. The property was close to several bars/restaurants and a grocery store. would highly recommend this property for a family vacation

The place was really special. The view from the balcony was picturesque. I was just sorry I had to work and couldn't spend more time taking in the views. Michelle did a great job communicating with me. Everything was exactly as proposed. The place had everything I needed and then some. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. Thank you again and I may be back when work calls.

My son and I wanted a small getaway and with a private beach on the lake, with non one to bother us... nothing can beat that!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and quaint, but had everything we needed! We appreciated the details like the upgraded appliances, the coffee supplies, the undermount sink, & the streaming on the TV that was offered. The hot tub was incredible and the highlight for me! Spent the brisk winter night gazing at the stars while soaking with jets and bubbles and my love... what could be better?! Definitely appreciated Taylor's flexibility! Oh, and the guest book was so cute. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

If you’re looking for a quiet place with a pieceful surrounding you can’t go wrong with Dannie’s place. Hope to return in the future with my family.

The "Lily Pad" was absolutely amazing... everything was just like the ad specified. Very easy check-in and check-out... Susan was extremely nice and answered all questions promptly. Susan gave great recommendations on places to eat in the area. The place was very clean and organized and gave an at home feeling. I will definitely be setting up another accommodation at Susan's studio condo again in the future. This property has an amazing fitness center and indoor swimming pool with a huge indoor hot tub as well.. it also had a arcade room that took me back with those oldie but goodie retro games. I loved the place and was disheartened when it was time to checkout..I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice studio condo to just relax in and enjoy the amenities and beautiful Smith Mtn. Lake...

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable from the start. Their detailed instructions made checking in a breeze, and they provided everything we needed for a smooth arrival. The location is lovely, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, and the apartment entrance was easy to find thanks to the clear directions. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. Even though we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves, they were quick to offer help if we needed any changes, showing how attentive and considerate they were throughout. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d be delighted to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-managed place to stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend stay at the cabin. The surroundings are beautiful and had we been in the area to enjoy ‘lake life’ this cabin would be a perfect fit. We were in the area to visit some museums in Roanoke and usually stay in hotels, but our dogs tend to bark and that bothers the other guests. As the cabin is dog friendly, we were able to crate them for a little while, while we enjoyed our day. Our host provided plenty of towels for our use, though we were surprised that there were no washcloths provided. When I mentioned this to our host, she said they’d take that recommendation for future guests. I’d also suggest that a box of tissues would be a nice addition (fortunately we had one in the car). But this is nitpicking, really. Bottom line - it’s a beautiful cabin and the surroundings are the same. Any lake loving boater would be right at home. And our host was friendly and communicative.

The Enclave compound was the perfect place for our extended family to stay during the weekend of my daughter’s wedding at the Pavilion at Blackwater Junction. Plenty of room, great kitchens, comfortable beds. We really. enjoyed the game room in the lodge basement. We rented a pontoon boat and jet skis from a marina and docked them at the dock. Had a great time on the water. Be prepared to walk up and down a steep hill for lake access. A wonderful setting for our time together!

Amazing and YES, cozy but not small country cottage! Beautiful Natural and well kept outdoors. Many sitting and dinning areas. inside provided tremendous light, many windows, Amazing space and separation of sleeping areas and very private bath. Kitchen perfectly laid out with much space for multiple cooks. Clean, private, quite and indoor bug free environment. Two perfect fire pits; one secluded for privacy and another perfect for gatherings. Perfect ambience. We felt we were home away from home. We had last minute request and Michelle was flexible, accommodating and went beyond host duties to fulfill our unusual needs. We will definitely return for another country cozy get away. Check in/out instructions were clear and minimal. Thank you for an amazing getaway! Look for us to return. We will definitely tell our friends!

Melba's little cabin is amazing. Don't just stay somewhere nice, stay somewhere unique and wonderful! From the custom details in the house to the adorable animals just across the fence (especially the little pig), this cabin was a heartwarming, peaceful experience we'll never forget. Close to great dining, too and of course Smith Mountain Lake. Thank you, Melba and family. We hope to come back.

This is our second summer visiting SML and staying at Chad's place. We love it! The house is in a beautiful spot on the lake, the natural beach is so great for our three small kids - we swam morning, noon, and night and rented a boat that was easy to keep at the dock. The house has all the things you need - and the beds are so comfortable. Chad is always so responsive and friendly for any questions and needs we had. The house is only a few minutes to the State Park which is a real gem with so much to offer and less than 10 minutes from the White House market which has any basic items you need! We highly recommend a stay here.

The Lodge was a great getaway on a beautiful lake. Super cozy bedroom and a fantastic fireplace for warm nights snuggled up on the couch. We enjoyed shooting pool and throwing some darts. The deck lights create a wonderful ambiance outside, along with the sounds of the trees and lake waters. Truly beautiful! A fully stocked kitchen made for ease of use! We would certainly return! Thanks again.

What an absolute gem! Beautiful, extremely clean, and private while still being an easy drive back to town for a nice dinner! Even in very early spring, the woods were beautiful. We loved the hot tub and the creek, and seeing only trees out the window. It was the perfect spot for our first grown-ups-only weekend in 10 years. We hope to come back soon!

We loved Firefly Cottage and can’t wait to go back again! It is so peaceful and cozy and had everything we needed. Sitting on the deck watching the boats and enjoying the beautiful view was a perfect way to relax! Highly recommend!
