This newly renovated cozy cabin is located in the middle of the forest in the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town Eksjö, the moose park in Skullaryd and skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

The space was great! Much larger than the photos showed and really cozy. The three of us had more than enough space and everything you need was available. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best during our time, so we could not use the outdoor area, but it was also really nice, even with a small sandbox and a large meadow, for which there was also various outdoor toys for young and old. There was also a toy box inside for our little son, who was busy with it! The location is a bit off the beaten track, so you definitely need a car and larger excursion destinations are a bit further away. It's super quiet and relaxing! We felt completely comfortable and would stay there again at any time.

Morgan and Lotta are very nice and helpful hosts. They were always responsive and always took care of our well-being. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults and children, but there is only one separate bedroom. The apartment is very nice and corresponds to the photos. The terrace and the view on the lake are magnificent. The lake is not perfect for swimming as it is a bit overgrown on the floor, but a small swimming spot has been created to cool off. Stand up paddling and kayaking were possible all over the lake. The location is very quiet and you should even be able to see moose nearby, unfortunately we did not succeed. To get to Eksjö you already need a car. The location is well suited for day trips (e.g. moose park, Vimmerby, Väternsee). When cycling, gravel roads are to be expected. We enjoyed it very much!!!

The most wonderful weekend in Anki and Ingvar's little paradise. We enjoyed two nights in a private glamping tent with lake view and all the facilities you could wish for such a trip. A trip to their lovely little sauna was the icing on the cake. Anki also made the most delicious breakfast and pizza kit, to make pizza yourself. In addition, there are many beautiful lakes and nature in the area, which we also had the opportunity to explore. Last but not least, Anki and Ingvar were sweet and welcoming and very helpful no matter what questions or shortcomings you had. We'll definitely be back!! Many greetings from Mads and Astrid from Copenhagen
