Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sintra

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

Très bonne hôte! Elle nous as reçu avec beaucoup d’informations et des bonnes recommandations pour restaurant et visite de Lisbonne. Le ménage était impeccable. Cependant, il y avait une odeur d’humidité présente. Peut-être juste les bâtiments en béton qui cause ceci que nous sommes pas habitué à cette odeur au Québec. Le petit coin intime est invitant! Merci Annabella pour ton accueil chaleureux!

We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay but Roberta was fantastic start to finish and I look forward to rebooking this amazing place soon. Thank you.

Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in de woning van Lenita. Het is een mooie plek om een aantal nachten door te brengen. Er zijn mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving, de supermarkt ligt om de hoek. De tuin is een rustige en groene oase midden in een stedelijke omgeving, heel bijzonder.

Beautifully renovated and decorated house in a very traditional village/small town. The garden with its cooling pool and dining/chilling area was equally beautifully presented as per listing. Although a car is needed to visit the area and for restaurants etc, Casa Arnaldo is in a great location for exploring the area including fantastic beaches, vineyards and historical sites, which Cristina informed us about providing plenty of useful information to make the most of our stay.

Excellente semaine passée dans 1 lieu de rêve. Le lieu,le cadre les accès enfin tt y était et surtout sans oublier Joanna et Ronny qui sont des hôtes admirables et disponible . Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons les yeux fermés.

Le site correspondait exactement à ce que nous cherchions. Très calme, vue magnifique, belle et grande terrasse. Pour trouver de l'animation (en mai) il faut prendre la voiture, pour les courses également, c'est un choix...

A beautiful little cottage close to amazing beaches and nature trails. Celia was also very friendly and most accommodating.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

It was one of the best experience that I had with the best host! Recommended for who like ocean and adventure:))

An unforgettable week in your holiday home Our week in your holiday home was truly a dream. The panoramic view over the ocean and the beach was breathtaking , waking up to that view every morning was pure magic. What made the stay extra special were the small observations that coloured local life. It was fascinating to see how people enthusiastically took selfies at the most beautiful places. It was also impressive to see how suppliers brought their products down the steep stairs – a true art in itself. The balcony was a true paradise: spacious, comfortable and with a view that invited us to enjoy the surroundings for hours. Although we noticed the musty air in the bedroom, we accepted this. With the tips we received to regulate the humidity, we were able to further optimise our stay. A fan for the night would be a welcome addition to improve the air circulation. What a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature to enjoy! We really loved walking to the cliffs and surrounding areas. Came across a farmer grazing his heard of goats… our daughter really enjoyed that. The air was crisp and fresh so make sure to take cozy clothes for the mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return! Manuela desde el principio hasta el final estuvo atenta en que todo estuviera bien. Ha sido muy amable y agradable en todo momento, y muy atenta con nuestro perro. La casa estuvo muy acogedora y tranquila. Es verdad que por las mañanas es muy luminosa y a mí con tanta luz me cuesta un poco pero está bien.

Genau wie erwartet. Ruhig, down to earth, nah an einem wenig besuchten Sandstrand und trotzdem Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc. in der Nähe. Und Claire ist eine tolle Gastgebenrin :-)
