Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sintra

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visits to Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

Mathieu and Carlota are gracious and accommodating hosts with a beautiful family. The house is in a quiet village very close to Cascais and Guincho beach. Easy to find and park. The pool is fantastic - deep enough for jumping and great fun for kids. The whole family was very welcoming and friendly and we felt very at home. Thank you all!

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the booking, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.

Good house in Colares!

We loved our stay in Ericeira - it’s a beautiful beach location, we visited as a family and found the property to be clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The building is historic, with a lovely shady shared court yard with a small pool, although we were the only people that used it for our whole stay. Communication with Tom was fast and clear, he greeted us on arrival and even gave us a short tour of Ericeira to help us get orientated. Our children were very excited to see the large beach less than five minutes walk from the front door. Five stars - very happy.

We loved the stay here, calm and having the sea just right in front of the terrace, a stunning view!

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

The view was absolutely amazing! Loved having coffee on the patio every morning and beautiful sunsets at night!

What a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature to enjoy! We really loved walking to the cliffs and surrounding areas. Came across a farmer grazing his heard of goats… our daughter really enjoyed that. The air was crisp and fresh so make sure to take cozy clothes for the mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return! Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Manuela was attentive from the beginning to the end, making sure everything was fine. She was very kind and pleasant at all times, and very attentive to our dog. The house was very cozy and quiet. It's true that in the mornings it's very bright and with so much light it's a little difficult for me, but it's fine.

Simply perfect. My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Seahorse house. The space is fantastic with a huge garden and the possibility of sighting the horses in the back of the house. The giblets have regrowned. Thank you so much for everything Célia. We'll be back!

Having Pedro meet us at the house and show us around and give us a list of recommendations was invaluable. The house is well appointed with beautiful gardens and a lovely outdoor area. It was a great central location for all of the things on our to do list. A stay at Ana and Pedro’s home will not disappoint.
