Apartment holiday rentals in Sintra

This place was the perfect base for exploring Sintra. Located right in the city center, it’s walking distance to everything—palaces, gardens, cafes, and shops. The apartment was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. The only downside was the limited parking, which can be a bit tricky in the area, but it’s manageable with a little planning. Overall, a fantastic stay and would definitely book again.

the amenities were absolutely great. very thoughtful touches. however like the other reviews said, the bed is very noisy and creaks at the slightest movement. also no curtains on the patio door makes you feel exposed. cute coffee shop and an indian restaraunt called india place made makes it a good option.

What a fantastic stay in Sintra. The location is perfect to walk everywhere we wanted, including up to the palace and castle. It’s always nice to be close to everything that you can drop stuff off partway through the day at the apartment Host was very communicative and the place was clean, modern and as female travelers, very safe. The washer/dryer was a huge bonus as well. Loved our stay and would could back again!

We loved our stay in Susete’s place! The apartment was beautifully renovated and decorated. The shower was as amazing as it looks in the picture and the bed was very comfortable! I definitely recommend visiting Sintra and staying at Susete’s place!

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment. This stylish and contemporary space was close to restaurants and shops and the host was very responsive. The beds were very comfortable and we would highly recommend this space to our friends. Thank you Sofia for hosting us. We will be back.

Our stay for a few nights in Sintra was extraordinary. Daniela's home was pristine, comfortable, and offered an incredible balcony with a great view. The very large walk in shower was great to use after a long day of exploring Sintra or nearby Lisbon, and the traditional bedroom furniture was very comfortable. The home is even better than it looks in the photos. It is completely walkable to the old town and train station (we like to walk -- it was about 15 minutes to the station), but Ubers were also readily available in the area. We would highly recommend staying at Daniela's place!

Stunning Penthouse with an Unforgettable View! I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible penthouse in Cascais, and I can honestly say it was one of the best stays I've had! The apartment is beautifully designed with modern finishes and tons of natural light. But what truly sets it apart is the view – it’s absolutely breathtaking! You can see the entire coastline, and watching the sunset from the terrace is something I’ll never forget. The location is also perfect – just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and the charming town center. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing us with all the details we needed for a smooth stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Cascais. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful, clean and lovely space - amazing views, quiet yet close to town. The host was super responsive and helpful. We loved sitting on the terrace and looking at the valley and mountain. Easy to walk to town. If you do bring a car, make sure it’s small as the road is super narrow (but we made it!). Place had everything we needed and more. Host was kind enough to even leave us a bottle of wine :). Would definitely return for a longer stay!

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I've ever had. Sofias apartment is so beautiful, flooded with light, super clean and in a great location. For my first visit to ericiera, im so pleased to have found Sofias property. I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend :)

LUX was very comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view of the St. George castle and the old city. Patricia was so nice. When we had a couple small challenges, she immediately responded kindly and helped us out. We loved the welcome gift. The balcony was fun. The area is wonderful to walk in, near Avenue de Liberdade but still so peaceful. Trees everywhere! The bed was cozy. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Loved being on the top floor. Big view windows and doors that completely open up.

This was a delightful place to stay in Sintra, full of character and cozy ambience. It lies in a great location for visiting Sintra's many historic sights, or just relaxing on the private back patio. Very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and portable space heaters provided, if needed. Fully stocked kitchen if you choose to cook. Be aware there is no overhead shower with shower curtain, so you adapt just fine by getting in the gorgeous, deep tub and using the spray wand. Nice soaps and lotions provided. The tub "saved" me by soaking sore muscles after a full day of walking on ancient stones all day! Willem is a most gracious host and very accommodating to flexible checkout time. He and Riaan are great communicators through every step of the reservation process and for making helpful recommendations for ATMs, restaurants, etc. I hope to stay there again!

Such a beautiful place in a vibrant fun neighborhood. After walking all day we loved coming home to swim and nap by the pool. Such a treat!

We had a great stay at Chiho & Nuno’s place. The apartment is spacy and located in a quiet street. We also appreciated quick and helpsom communication during our stay. Would definitly reccomend this apartment when planning a trip to lisbon.

We were in Ricardo's apartment for the third time. He has completely renovated the apartment this year and installed a brand new kitchen and laid new flooring, and the electrical appliances in the kitchen are also new. The roof terrace is beautiful. In the evening, you can relax beautifully in the whirlpool. The apartment is superbly located for sightseeing in the city. Next door is the Lidl supermarket and in the same building an Auchan where you can perfectly cater for yourself and barbecue on the existing roof terrace. A big plus and extremely rare is the underground car park with a parking space for the car for excursions. There are no outdoor parking spaces in Lisbon and that is why there is a parking space in the underground car park. Perfect.

Great apartment in great location. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the sunshine and people watch. Really good to have a parking space although narrow entrance and exit. Really good sushi restaurant in the complex. We had a lovely stay.

Staying at Ana and Jorge’s place in Lisbon may be the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. They are super responsive and make sure you got in and settled. The listing is also very convenient to buses and metro, and doesn’t take a long time from the airport either. An ALDI and Auchan are nearby and the street is quiet at night. The listing was clean, comfortable, and was large enough that we felt we had enough personal space while we were there. But what really sets Ana and Jorge apart is how much they care. We were greeted with homemade food made by Ana and Jorge, left for us for when we arrived and they brought us something else to try later in our stay. It was all delicious and really shows how much they enjoy hosting guests. I highly recommend Ana and Jorge as hosts and this listing is perfect for a trip to Lisbon.

We absolutely loved this apartment! The location is amazing. You can walk to restaurants, bars, McDonald’s and the beach nearby. The place was spotless - my 1 year old was crawling all over the place. The terrace is the cherry on top of it all! Highly recommend and will be back. João was a great property manger - friendly, very responsive and had great suggestions and advice for us to make sure the trip was great. We found this place on the same day we booked and I’m sooooo glad we did!!! Thanks again!
