The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. The lodge is located approximately 10 km from the beach and you can also make many nice trips. Visit Enkhuizen, the cheese market in Alkmaar or take the train to Amsterdam.

Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

't Achterend is a beautiful guesthouse in our North Holland farm, rural location in the village of Stroet, near the sea and forest... Unfortunately, our apartment is not suitable for children, due to the ditch on the property. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles! (25,-per bike per day) Direct WiFi connection for working from home.
