Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Simi Valley

I stayed here with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect! The house is beautiful, well-decorated, very clean and provides an ample amount of space for any large party. We had 8 girls sleeping there, and we used it to get ready in on wedding morning. We fit all our hair/makeup vendors no problem. Everyone raved about this property - it was a hit, and such a stress-free place for us all to spend an important weekend. Ernesto and Judy were super helpful and responsive in the lead up to the weekend and throughout the process, and we are grateful to have stayed in their home! My only note for potential new guests is that most of the furniture/mattresses are pretty soft, which might be tough for someone with a bad back. No complaints, just a heads up!

Everything was perfect! I had my proposal on the patio there and the view was gorgeous. Jeffery was a fantastic host and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place!

I've stayed at this AirBandB several times and plan to return. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Everything is in good working order. The beds are comfy. There is everything that you need to cook or bake. I especially enjoyed the midcentury modern sleek decorating style. Thanks Bob!

I’m extremely satisfied with John’s beautiful house, and I can say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed in LA among all of my 17 LA trips. My parents were so obsessed with John’s place and they said they wanna stay here forever. John’s place was so clean, bright, and prestige, which was exactly matched with the pictures. John was also being very responsive and friendly (always reply less than 10 mins). Nice place and totally worthy!

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

We were a group of 6 (three adults, three teens) and this house was perfect for us! Although it could easily sleep 8. We loved the pool and the hot tub, the backyard was beautiful! We requested that the pool be heated (fair fee) and it was the perfect temperature for the kids on a weekend that was not too warm. There was extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, baggies(things that are not always included with Airbnb's). We were able to find everything we needed during our stay. The coffee/wine bar was such a cute addition. The TV's were easy to use, there is even one outside. Tom and Chris were perfect hosts, very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very comfortable. Loved that Whole Foods was in walking distance as well as local restaurants. That was the best part. Very cute place and just a great location.

Great location perfect for Universal Studios. Good restaurants nearby. Pac-Man game inside unit is great. Amenities were nice. Bathroom clean. Overall great spot would recommend

The place was as described. It was comfortable and relaxing. Parking was nice to have assigned space. Pool, hot tub, and gym were great. Close to everything yet very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

Stay was great. Felt right at home. Make sure you follow the check in details correctly. Felt a little uneasy at first but became comfortable once you settle in. Great location. Walking distance to LA live. Will return!

Great place to stay with a lot of space and hot tub and pool Lots of area to hang out and chill in the sun and two cabanas in the pool hot tub area was nice Lots of stuff for your small kids

Stefania was an excellent host. Always helpful and responsive. When we arrived we were tired, it was late, and we had some trouble finding the building. If I had printed out her instructions it would have been a breeze. Felt safe and the unit is centrally located. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Loved the spacious patio! I recommend using the parking inside the building garage. The street parking is free but fills up quickly. Overall, a nice choice.

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

Jesus’s home was very clean and updated with beautiful modern farm house touches! So much thoughtfulness went into their welcome basket, to baking supplies, fully stocked coffee bar, variety of fun complimentary snack cupboard, and lavender soaking tub supplies! Property was very private and quiet with lots of outdoor seating along with a big Santa Maria charcoal grill. Definitely would recommend 100%

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

It was perfect, better than perfect: Top of line new Airstream ✅ Best sauna you’ll ever sit in ✅ Best hot tub ✅ Wood burning fire pit with proper seating ✅ Best Landscaping and well curated outside lighting ✅ coolest outdoor shower you’ll actually enjoy using ✅ every amenity (robes, slippers, easy to use coffee machine, audio, most comfortable patio seating ever, towels, blankets, huge fridge). It was magical. The host is soooooo responsive. We’re big coffee drinkers and we used all the instant cups for the maker so I mentioned it. We noticed a platter full of the coffee maker things (I don’t know what they’re called) placed by the front. It was like the coffee fairy payed us a visit. They asked if we needed anything after we checked in and before checking out. The bed was super comfy. I can go on.
