Cottage holiday rentals in Simi Valley

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

This was our third trip to Darrell’s place in 2 1/2 years. We just can’t get enough! Each trip we add another night to our stay. We’re already checking our schedule for a trip back in October! This guest house is a tiny home, packed full of everything you need. We enjoyed cooking on the little two burner stove top, extra blankets for lounging around on the outdoor bed, mini fridge holds a lot, toaster oven, space heater for the chilly evenings, tv with cable and WiFi. Our favorite thing about this place is the feeling we get when we’re here. We’re instantly at peace. It’s calm and serene. We enjoyed working on crafts at the picnic table under the trees, listening to the deep wind chimes resonate throughout the property. Birds and other wild life are active and brought life to the experience as well as the flow of the many water falls. Darrell is really friendly, and generous. We’re so grateful that he offers this space to us to rent. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay at Linda’s place was great! Nice touches with hand written notes and snacks to welcome us. Absolutely beautiful garden and outdoor area. You can tell there’s a lot of care that goes into to the property. Inside was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would overall recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was amazing—peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful, tranquil yard. Connie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. We truly loved our time there and would absolutely return!

MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay. Everything was as described, and we felt completely at home. The location is perfect - quiet and safe. I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and checking out all of the beautiful houses. The bungalow was very well-equipped with everything we needed. My only issue (which was only mine) was that cabinets were really high up for me (I’m only 5’0), but wasn’t an issue for my much taller daughter. The patio was also a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather we had. We will definitely stay here again when we’re visiting So. Cal.

Wonderful stay. Wanted to get away from LA and have a nature focused time with my dogs. Felt right at home. Perfect little cabin!!

Unique little spot with amazing views. We were even able to get a bit of hiking in - Lisa gave us the inside scoop on how to walk from our lil trailer to the Topanga State Park trails. We spent some time in LA as well as Oxnard to go whale watching - couldn’t have been better situated to access all the good stuff and take some scenic drives (if you’re into that sort of thing). We are into that sort of thing. Well worth the money just for the atmosphere and nature (fell asleep to the croaks of the local frog population) though we didn’t see any. Comfy beds and restful sleep. Thank you!

Perfect for the three of us! Location was very peaceful and quiet. Street parking was great, the farthest we parked was maybe just two houses away. Host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issue. I would definitely stay again and recommend for future stays! The kitchen is stocked pretty well with all the necessities would need; pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, toaster oven, microwave, kureg etc. big fridge as well. Felt just at home. Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay and experience!

Even before check-in Darryl was most helpful. He was very friendly and quick with his responses. Being my first time to California Darryl ensured I was aware of part of PCH being closed and an alternate route to take to the location. I can’t thank Darryl enough for being such an amazing host! Definitely recommend and when I’m back in the area will surely rebook a stay!

Great little house. Super cute. I will caution anyone who wants a soft bed, this is not the place for you. The beds are incredibly firm and make for tough sleeping if you’re a softer bed type. My husband would have loved the beds.

Rooms are somewhat small but the cottage is charming, very homey, and quite comfortable. It had all we needed. We will want to visit again. The outside common area and chickens were a big hit with our grandkids when they came for a visit. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. Kristen was a great host.

Perfect stay in Geraldine's cottage nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was adorable! The house was clean, safe, comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Malibu and the freeway. Nice walk to the Old Place in the morning to grab a cup of coffee where I go to see some Peacocks. I will be back.

The home was great for what we needed! The home was very nice and the area was peaceful. Would recommend if you need a place to sleep while you go out and about during the day!

Craig was friendly, helpful, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. The Airbnb was exactly what I needed for a solo trip, and the location was quiet despite being only a few blocks south of the busiest part of Hollywood. I highly recommend staying here.

stayed for proximity to Dodgers Stadium. beautiful historic home and neighborhood. Didn't use it, but metrorail station is a short walk away. Parking was fine on the street out front. Nice park for running or walking nearby. Grocery, fast food and restaurants all within walking distance. would certainly stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Hanne’s place. The studio is cute, clean, and private. The back garden is lovely. We sipped tea at the table and chairs in the morning or sat on the grass. The location is ideal. A few blocks to great restaurants. Lovely teas are provided but no coffee, though there is a coffee pot. There are 2 single beds, so my boyfriend and I pulled the mattresses together on the floor at night to make one bed.

This place was really good for the price. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get to any tourist attraction in Los Angeles. The place was tidy and suitable for 2 people. There were some flies in the house or small bugs on the floor, but it wasn't a big deal. However, the towels were tight for 3 days, so I washed them and used them. The kitchen is clean and it's nice to have a food grinder. However, we don't have a lot of seasonings, so you just need to think about the basic kitchen utensils. The mirror is only in the bathroom. It would have been better if there was an EV charger, but overall it was a neat and safe place.

Chuck and Adrian were a great host. They were very easy to communicate and provided clear instructions. We absolutely loved the cottage - a very charming cottage in the Studio Village.

We stayed 1 month in this lovely cottage after our home burned down in the Palisades Fire as we looked for a new home. Sharon was lovely & friendly and the place was a peaceful and beautiful temporary home for us whilst we healed from our loss. Strongly recommended !
