Charming and serene cottage with a beautiful and thoughtful aesthetic throughout the home. Private and relaxing spot for a beach getaway. Nice outdoor space for our toddler and two pups. We would love to stay here again.

Nancy’s place was perfect for us for our week+ stay while visiting family in the area. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything that we needed. Nancy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the neighborhood as we are big walkers and the neighborhood streets and the preserve trail right at the end of the road were great for exercise. It was a bit of a cool week while we were in SoCal so the heater/fireplace was a welcome plus for keeping us comfortable. As a tea drinker, I was happy to have an electric tea kettle available while my husband enjoyed the keurig machine and the supply of k-cups Nancy provided. We would certainly stay again.

The Cottage was the perfect place for me to stay while the interior of my house was being painted. I was easily able to work from there & there were many nice touches like bread & creamer in the fridge. Just wish I had more time to explore the beautiful grounds.

What a great spot! There is a lot to do within walking distance but there are a lot of stairs to get to the main thoroughfare. The cottage was super cozy for a tiny house. The kitchen had amenities for the first morning which was helpful after a day of travel. We wished we had more time to spend there but there was so much to do in Ventura.

The place was excellent, very peaceful and beautiful. Had an excellent stay with no issue. The only reason I would give it 4 is because the water pressure is really really really low and so taking a shower was not convenient . The common bathroom was better than the master bathroom, but still really low water pressure. I would not say it’s a deal breaker but something to be aware. Stephen and Devin are very quick to respond and do make sure you are comfortable so I would definitely recommend to stay here .

We had such a great time staying at Pia’s home. It had everything we needed, was in walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and a local wine bar. The home itself was adorable and we spent a lot of time sitting in the sun in the backyard. We have stayed in many places throughout Ventura county and this was by far our favorite!

Debra was such an amazing host!! She took my friends and I in during the fire evacuations in LA and was so helpful during our entire stay. She brought us fresh eggs from her friend's farm and gave us great recommendations for places to explore in the area. The cabin was so cute and cozy, we all felt so at home! Thank you Debra!!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You cannot find a better deal on the water near Santa Barbara for the space and price. Very safe, totally walkable (grocery store, coffee, beach, some restaurants, liquor store). Host is invested in ensuring your stay is enjoyable. You can walk out the door and have your toes in the ocean in about 4 minutes. If you want two bathrooms, comfy beds, and access to an amazing array of beach zip codes for a very fair price, this is the place.

Sea Horse Cottage at Mandalay

We had a wonderful stay here! It is more spacious than the pictures show, clean and comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach and appreciated all the beach gear. The outdoor shower to rinse off was so convenient. We read past reviews and brought eye masks for the rooms with the skylight which was helpful. Oxnard is so quiet and laid back. We made a day trip to the Channel Islands which was unforgettable and amazing - highly recommend!!

I stayed at Ian’s for 3 nights to go mountain biking with my family. The cottage is in a wonderful location, it’s a beautiful neighborhood with views of the ocean and you can walk to a number of restaurants and a great coffee shop. Montecito is a few minutes drive away and there are so many beautiful trails right from the house. The cottage is cozy but the outdoor space is shared, which isn’t made clear in the listing and is a bit of a surprise when you get there.

By far the BEST Airbnb I’ve stayed at. I don’t often leave reviews, but I will do so if my stay and experience has been outstanding. Felicity’s space did not disappoint. Her communication was prompt and she was able to accommodate me at a time of need and at a moment’s notice. What a tranquil, peaceful and AMAZING getaway if you’re looking to get out of the city or just want a cozy mountain cabin to suit your lifestyle. This space is beyond words. The cabin was clean, fully stocked and so comfortable and flat out GORGEOUS. Felicity is one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever met. She is also a professional quilter and if you get a chance to meet her and see her designs, you will be blown away. The room at the cozy quail is exactly as described - COZY with quails abound. Quiet and peaceful. Hands down, some of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in years. The cabin’s theme matches that of the forest and mountain range of the locale. You would not believe her taste and fine details and touches. Felicity - I cannot express enough how on point you are as an Airbnb hostess...you know all the local spots, trails to hike and are so knowledgeable of mountain life in general - something that was new to me as a city girl. I wish you all the best and I can’t wait to bring Travis up to meet you. I will definitely reserve again when the time is right - and I look forward to that quilt girlie as soon as the timing is right for us both.
