Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Shizuoka

We loved the house. It’s very cozy, super clean, close to the lake, no insects (at least not during our stay), very pet friendly. We went as a family of 4 with our little dog. We highly recommend it.

Breathtakingly beautiful views from every window. Even my 6 month old daughter enjoyed walking up and staring at the trees outside the bedroom window. So many great ways to unwind and recharge. Only thing to note is it’s a bit far from restaurants and stores so taxing was the way to get around for us since we had a baby and stroller to tote. Otherwise location and buses would’ve been convenient.

I stayed with a 2-and-a-half-month-old child and 2 adults, a total of 3 people. Check-in was very easy, and there were no problems with the accommodation. It was a very clean inn, with a good view from the room, and I was able to stay with my small child with peace of mind. The host put together a list of recommended spots in the area, which was very helpful as a reference for dinner. There were so many rooms, and it was so spacious that it was too much for three people, so it's a favorite inn that I'd like to use with two families, such as a couple of friends!

Great place with a private jungle vibe but just minutes away from the beautiful beaches. Very quiet and clean and wonderful hosts. They were kind enough to give me a ride to the train station as it was raining Monday of departure. Fun little surf town… Little warning “ cash is king in this town”… the taxi only takes cash! lol

It was a very relaxing place to stay, and all the guests were so excited that they thought it was more than 100 points out of 100. I strongly felt that I wanted to come again.

Good facilities and location, close to nearby attractions and shops

I live nearby.My son and his wife came with a baby. On the day of fireworks, accommodation costs for nearby ryokans are soaring, but this time, it was a weekday price even on holidays, and it felt like a great deal. Originally, when I booked by mistake for a month, they responded by rescheduling, and they were willing to handle forgotten items, and communication was very smooth.Thank you very much.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this beautiful property. The house itself is a perfect example of traditional Japanese architecture—peaceful, aesthetically pleasing, and impeccably maintained. It offered a unique cultural charm while also being very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped for guests. A special mention to our host, Fujisakura-san, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. She was always available to provide guidance and support, whether it was helping us navigate the area or answering our questions with warmth and clarity. Her hospitality truly made us feel at home. Great place to stay. Unfortunately, the BBQ was canceled due to the rain, but there was no cancellation fee, and the hot plate was rented for 1000 yen instead. There are multiple toilets and sinks in the hot spring at any time, so I think it's perfect for a group trip. There were also a lot of toys for children to play with, and we had plenty of fun indoors.

We had a very pleasant time! The 100% hot spring and sauna were the best, and I entered and healed many times during my stay.I think it's unforgettable for hot springs and sauna lovers. The host was also very polite, and I felt safe communicating quickly in advance.They explained a lot of things to me in the local area, and I had a worry-free stay. Also, I appreciated being told about local recommended spots and rice restaurants.At the izakaya I was introduced to, the local fish sashimi was very delicious, and all the other dishes were missing! I relaxed in the hot spring and eat delicious food... it was a very satisfying stay.We'd love to go again. Thank you!

We had an amazing time at the Aquaholic! The place is a perfect little get away. Everything is very nice and clean. The scenery is super pretty as well. The host was wonderful and super helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

The grounds were very spacious, and there were many play equipment for small children to play, which was very good. We also got to meet wild deer! The room was also very clean, spacious, and full of openness. It was unfortunate that it rained on the first day, but I enjoyed it even in the room, and the next day it was sunny, so I was able to play as much as I could outside. There are also many bedrooms and can accommodate large groups, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

This place was awesome! Super clean, super cozy, and had everything we needed. But the real star of the show was the bathhouse — absolutely amazing. It felt like having our own little spa right outside the house. We spent every evening soaking and relaxing, and it seriously made the whole trip feel extra special. It was peaceful, private, and just really well done. The host was great too — friendly, quick to respond, and gave clear instructions for everything. If you're looking for a chill, comfortable spot with a little extra something, this is it. Would totally stay here again!

Beautiful house, very quaint and lovely garden, with wonderful amenities, located in a quiet and charming town. We were a group of 8 girls. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with good quality utensils, electric kettle, etc. And small things like having tissue boxes in the bathrooms, providing Aesop toiletries. And the futons were very thick and good quality! Definitely recommended for bigger groups!

This place was the perfect peaceful getaway. I was greeted by the host upon arrival and shown everything about the space and property. It was about a 5 min drive to the lake. The sauna/cold tub/hot tub cost extra but was a great addition. Gorgeous property and immaculate, private guest house to stay in. Would love to stay here again!

It was very easy to understand and the service was polite.The inn was surrounded by nature, in a calm place, and there were many places to visit nearby, such as suspension bridges and cafes, so it was good.Also, you can rent an electric bicycle, so you can easily walk around the area.I would definitely want to use it.

The building and interior were very clean and the hospitality was outstanding. I think many people visit by car, but the entrance is easy to see from the road, and there is plenty of parking space. The host's responses to questions and messages are prompt and polite.Japanese people can feel at ease. There is a private house next door, right next to the premises, visible from the wooden deck, so you need to be a little careful when chatting during BBQ. You may also be slightly bothered by the sound of cars and trucks passing through the adjacent road. Overall very happy with the experience.

Fully equipped, quiet surroundings, lots of little deer in the forest, great views of Mt. Fuji.

Nice cabin for the most part. Descriptions are accurate. Maybe it's better during the brighter season. Early June is too dark. The area is quite dark at night , hard to come up if you're driving. The area surrounding is not to my interest. I wish I could use the hot spring, it was way too hot even after draining out with refilling with cold water. There were no instructions for it.

If you only prepare ingredients, there are seasonings and sauces. There were few ingredients at the nearby supermarket, so I thought it would be good to prepare it in advance. All of the meat from the butcher you mentioned was delicious.

The sauna, water bath, and natural hot spring were all pleasant to use!The description of the facility was also easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay.
