Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sheffield District

Large studio, fully furnished. 5-minute walk to convenient stores, 10-minute walk to the uni, and 20-minute walk to the railway station. The only problem is that the reception desk is a bit difficult to find.

Absolutely loved my stay at Jonathan’s place. Ideal neighborhood, which led to some incredible evening walks along the river. Food / coffee nearby is incredible. Everything is well within walking distance. The flat is very private, felt right at home without much disturbance. Jonathan accurate an early check in for me, which was so amazing considering I’d just got in from a very long journey. He was also responsive and empathetic to a unique issue that accured on the first night, so rest assured he will take care of you should anything go wrong! There is an elevator that gets you right up to the third level, super easy to navigate. The shower is wonderful. My only critiquing would be to do with slow WiFi (I was in town for business, so this annoyed me a bit when I needed it) and the main bed could do with more pillows to make it more comfy (totally a personal preference) but all this to say, I’d happily stay again and overall, I’d 100% recommend to anyone considering. Great value for money. The bed is comfortable and the shower was fine. It does get quite hot in the room due to the window not opening much, but for the price of this place, I can't complain! It does the job and lived up to the photos and description. The check in application is a bit extreme with a lot of personal info needed, feeling slightly intrusive, but it's not a huge problem. The hosts were very communicative and reception is there 24 hours if needed.

Great stay in a prime location. The apartment was very comfy and spotless. Everything was as described in the listing. The host is welcoming and responsive. I recommend this to other travellers.

Had a really good time staying at Stephan’s place. He was super quick to respond to any messages, which made everything easy. The flat was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was smooth — the directions were clear (my bad for not reading them properly at first!). The location is great, really close to the city and a popular coffee spot. Just stayed here for three months while working at the Sheffield Crucible and it was perfect. Great location within easy walk from the theatre and city centre, comfortable and a great little city apartment.

Had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. This was my second stay here and would definitely stay here again when visiting Sheffield.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Holymoorside. It really is a lovely, peaceful place and we had absolutely everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a great place for walks and this is one of our favourite things to do. This is a top quality place to stay and one of the best AirBnbs we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay recently at Patrick's place. Really great property. Super clean, super close to everything with some great restaurants and cool bars close by. We had an amazing stay at Sharon’s home. The house was perfect for our big family, spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, especially for children. There were plenty of games and fun details that made our kids absolutely love the place! Everything was clean, cozy, and well-organized, making us feel right at home. Sharon was an incredibly kind and welcoming host, always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. It was a perfect experience for us, and we highly recommend this home to families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to return!

Spent Christmas at the house and had a great time. Kitchen was well equipped and served us well. The gym and the games room kept us busy and amused. Host was really responsive and helpful. Overall a great place to stay and definitely recommended.

Idyllic stay in the beautiful Peak District. Lyndas special cottage was a treat, beautiful and cosy, with soft colored walls and tasteful fabrics , personal antiques, little touches in every corner. A good little kitchen, very comfortable bed and linens everything we needed and then some. Located Just outside friendly and vibrant Matlock. Wonderful walks from the property and a perfect place to explore the whole area. Lynda is a talented interior designer and it was a treat to get to stay in her delightful cottage. My dog was also welcome and loved the garden space that was ours. Lynda was very helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit with her love of the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back.

This property is absolutely stunning! We’ve just got back from a girls weekend away and we had a great time here. This property’s location is spot on, there a couple local pubs near by which are walking distance and it’s not too far of a drive to Matlock baths. The views and scenery were just incredible! Mary was so helpful throughout the full process and made us feel right at home. The extra bar and hot tub outside were good fun and the garden is a great size. The fridge was already stocked with necessities such as milk (and wine!) which was fab. For the price we paid, you can’t complain. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family. Thank you Mary and Jay x

Dan has a fabulous home, very modern, the bed was so comfy, lovely modern kitchen, outdoor space and seating - it was so easy to find and super quiet. Perfect for Asda, and a short walk to the horse racing. Thanks so much Dan! Taxi from the station for a fiver x

Great central location, snug, warm and dry in cold wet weather, lots of choices for eating out within easy walking distance. Kitchen and bathroom facilities all clean and well equipped. A lovely place for a short stay when visiting family and friends in the area.
