Monthly Rentals in Shatterling

We had a very comfortable couple of nights at Signal Cottage. We appreciated the peaceful location and enjoyed relaxing in the garden in the unusually hot weather, after a hike to Richborough Castle. We slept well in a comfortable bed and the provided breakfast cereals were very welcome. Alison and Graham are very friendly and made us feel at home. There is plenty to see and do in the area and we would be happy to stay at Signal Cottage again.

WOW !! what a beautiful air b&b. the location is so tranquil, incredibly peaceful and so relaxing. to be able to watch and listen to the birds on the decking area was exactly what my soul needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, the attention to detail throughout the property was stunning. the bread was delicious too!! thank you so so much again, it was wonderful being able to celebrate my partners birthday here. we will definitely be returning 🩷

The Granary was a beautiful place and in an idyllic location. I would highly recommend it. We had everything we needed and more - Sarah left a lovely Welcome Pack. There was private outside space too, and we made the most of that. Also able to walk into Wingham for good pub meals. We ate at The Dog, and we'd recommend both the food and the service there. All in all a fantastic weekend away.

Where do I even begin? Lisa and George are the most incredible hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their kindness, generosity, and attention to detail truly set them apart. The thoughtful touches made all the difference - from the fresh flowers to the incredible selection of local produce, including homemade honey, fresh sausages, bacon, bread, granola, and butter. Every bite was a taste of the region, making my stay feel even more authentic and special. As for the accommodation, the stable was simply stunning - beautifully designed, cozy, and so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. But what truly made this experience exceptional was Lisa and George themselves. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel so welcome. Thank you both for an unforgettable stay - I can’t wait to see you again! 😊
