Monthly Rentals in Shapwick

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Ian and Rachel are the most gracious hosts. We felt like old friends right from the start. They called nearby pubs for us so we didn’t unnecessarily drive somewhere they were no longer serving food for the evening. The space is so big and quiet. We absolutely loved the area. It perfectly fit our taste for the quiet, rural areas (but still easily accessible to nearby areas with plenty of dining options and shops). The breakfast was wonderful and plenty to go around! We had an amazing stay and wish we could give extra stars! Practically perfect in every way!

The perfect location and accommodation to experience the true flavour of Somerset with its lovely peaceful surroundings. The hosts, James and Liz, were very accommodating providing fresh eggs, milk and biscuits which were most welcome after a long drive. An adjacent large field was perfect for our dog to let off some steam for his morning walk and late evening.

We only stayed for one night and it was a perfect stop off. Nice touches from Trish, she had provided us with Milk, eggs and other nice things. Good to wake up to the alpacas, goats and guinea fowl in the field beyond the garden…our puppy was very excited!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was breaking up my journey to Cornwall and this was about half way. It was super comfortable and cosy for me to relax after driving. Lovely friendly hosts, very comfortable beds a well equipped kitchenette and everything was super clean. The breakfast was a nice touch and some nice thoughtful additions like quality toiletries . I stayed on the way back too and my son also really liked it. I would definitely stay again.
