Guesthouse holiday rentals in Setesdal

Checked out after a few days in the annex of Lise. Everything was as described and out from the photos. Lise and her husband were very pleasant and accommodating with local tips. Very convenient with access to the kindergarten's outside area, only for ourselves 🤩 Thanks for us 😊

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

Idyllic place and a pleasant host. The apartment was well equipped. A terrace with outdoor furniture would have been nice to dispose of when the weather allows it. No opportunities for a trip on the sea this time when the boat/ engine had to have a service. Would love to come back late. Kind regards, Roald Kvalvågnes.

Great place, nature and hosts. Easy access by boat from Stavanger. Hosts where super hospitable providing tips for hikes nearby. Will definetly want to visit this beautiful place again! Thank you so much :)

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

We've had the world's best stay at John Asle's! The guest house was absolutely beautiful and it was really an experience staying there. We ended up ditching a lot of what we would do in the immediate area to have time to new the lovely house and surroundings. In the garden there were both lambs and hens, and we had access to an outdoor shower that was super easy to use and in addition incredibly cozy. The whole area and the house looked like it was taken straight out of an Astrid Lindgren book. John Asle and his family were very nice and greeted us when we were out in the garden and we got to be completely at peace when we were inside the house. In addition, I would add that they had an emergency poster with address, coordinates and maps of exactly where the house was located if you need to call for help. Incredibly well thought. Wish it was possible to give higher scores, because this family really burst the scale of everything we've experienced in the past. Would love to come back for a longer stay another time!

Gry is a great host. The place was nice and very clean. The bed was good. The small distance to the kitchen and bathroom facilities was no problem at all. There was a curious squirrel around the house.

We felt very comfortable . Beautiful area and the ferry to the center is only 4 minutes away. A really good "package" Norway.

The place matched the description exactly and was super clean! The residential area is rather secluded but quiet and equipped with very nice houses. The hosts were very nice. I highly recommend a stay.

Idyllic place with fantastic views of the sea. Cosily furnished with everything you need. The outdoor area has several zones and superstructures so that you can be outside even in a little messy weather. Many great hiking trails and proximity to the sea and swimming are great when the weather allows it. Otherwise, it is easy to drive to Arendal or other exciting small places. Solveig welcomed us warmly and answered questions and recommendations. Would love to come back to this gem of a place.

A truly beautiful place. Perfect for a relaxed and tranquil trip. Parking is a 1 min walk from the cabin and with car would use 15min to the city center. Nice and friendly hosts! Recommended!

A truly beautiful stay in the most breathtaking location. A real wild Norwegian experience in the cosiest home. Amazing hot tub with views over the rolling hills and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs provided!

We stayed with two children (6/9) for 5 days in Rauland with Jostein. The place was exactly as described. The house was clean and the amenities left nothing to be desired. The view over the entire valley was stunning. Beds are very cozy. The, from our point of view, other highlights are the hot tub and pizza oven on the terrace. The communication with Jostein was great. The host answers quickly and is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
