Beachfront holiday rental in Sennen Cove

Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views over Carbis Bay and St Ives. Everything that we needed for a restful and relaxing holiday, very tastefully fitted out, and well appointed place to stay. Becky and Alex made sure we were settled in and had everything we required. A perfect few days away. Thank you.

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lisa’s cottage,It’s location is perfect for walking into St Ives and the car park. The cottage was exactly as described with a comfortable bed nice bathroom with hot shower and lounge area for relaxing after a hard day on the beach. Would definitely book again.

An extremely enjoyable weeks holiday helped massively by extremely good weather. The property's location was ideal for our purpose as we were able to walk to the town and avoid using the car. On arrival we received a friendly welcome from Vanessa which extended to practical help as the car was slightly too long for the parking space available. Vanessa immediately made alternative parking arrangements just a few minutes walk away which we were able to use throughout the holiday. We would certainly have extended our stay if we were in a position to do so.

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

This is the cleanest holiday rental we’ve ever stayed. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Beautiful property. Wonderful area. Pool was lovely. Highly recommend. Beautiful place! Would 100% stay again! We requested decorations to be put up for arrival as it was my mams 50th birthday. We sent decorations but they weren’t put up when we arrived. We spoke with Malcolm about this and he came straight over the next morning to do this while we were out and left some beautiful cupcakes, helped us rectify the heating as it was very hot, and was available at all times when we needed! Beautiful place! Very local to lots of shops and very close to the train station: beautiful views!

We stayed at Jackie's for a week, while performing Les Miserables at the Minack. The location was perfect, being less than a 5 minute walk to both the beach and theatre. The views were incredible, perfect for breakfast on the balcony! The place was absolutely spotless and I would love to come back again in the future, thank you Jackie!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing few days and highly recommend staying here. The location is so peaceful, with stunning panoramic views of the Helford River. The boathouse interior is well equipped with modern decor, as well as touches inspired by the older boathouse it was modeled after. The highlight for us was the easy access to the waterfront and use of the kayaks. If you enjoy paddling across the river in the late afternoon and unwinding with a cozy cup of tea at sunset, this is the ideal place.

We loved our stay at the Badgers Loft, Sennen! We have stayed at Sennen twice before with family, however, have never stayed anywhere more convenient. The loft was moments away from the sea front, convenient for both quick dips and days spent on the beach. The loft itself was immaculate and beautifully presented. A cosy place to sit after days out exploring. The bed was comfortable, and it was lovely to be able to go to sleep with the accompanying sound of the sea. Hope to be back soon.

This was the most amazing location I have ever stayed in Cornwall. Stunning sea and sunset views, easy access, cozy and beautifully decorated home with the most incredible details. Sennen Cove is gorgeous. To also have a wonderful place to stay just makes the experience fabulous. To wake up to a view of the bay, and have a fab place to sit and have breakfast, to self cater in the brilliantly appointed kitchen, or sit outside the back door in the morning sun, just kept making our holiday wonderful. The house is a stones throw from the beach. We didn't use half, I'm sure, of the things available to us. We just loved the comfort and being in a special home.

I don’t usually write reviews, mainly because I’m quite a difficult person to please. But Day Dawn completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The location is simply breathtaking, and the house itself is finished to such a high standard you can clearly see how much thought and care Jo and Matt have put into every detail. My family and I had an amazing time here. The setting was perfect, the experience unforgettable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be returning to this very house again. Thank you, Jo and Matt, for having us it meant so much. Hopefully next time we’ll have the chance to meet in person.
