Based in Azumino/Ikeda-cho in autumn, embark on a journey to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps and the autumn foliage. From September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages in Shinshu. You can enjoy autumn scenery unique to each region, including Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and plateaus to see the autumn foliage. When I get back, I'll relax in the sauna and the cold water bath. Please enjoy a quiet time in the countryside at night, with a BBQ and the starry sky. It is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, so it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples and small groups. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream.
