Chalet holiday rentals in Sea of Japan

Beautiful place in a very peaceful location. Walking distance to ski hire and restaurants and the private bath is amazing.

The place was fantastic and really spacious. Modern and had extras such as dishwasher, air purifier and even Netflix! It was also really nice to have staff meet us in person and check in with us. They also went the extra mile to help me receive a package that a friend had courier over. 👍🏻 The only letdown was that the AC in the master bedroom had some electrical problems that would trip the whole house when on. In the end we had to off that AC. But we appreciate their responsiveness in helping us to try to fix it. Overall this place is definitely recommended and you will not go wrong.

Team Morino was very accommodating to our needs and requests. Check in/out instructions were simple and clear. Chalet layout is spacious and never felt cramped with our large family group aged 13-80 years. The van pickup and grocery run was much appreciated. Location is walkable to Happo village and easy to call Uber taxis to other locations. The kitchen was well equipped and it was easy to prepare large meals. Good advice on what/where to pre book before arrival such as ski equipment and lessons. Overall very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.

We spent the most amazing time at Riders Ridge. Peter & Mogi made our stay so easy and were so helpful with local information. The house was amazing, we had a big group of 13 people and we had so much space. Myoko has our heart. We will be back.

The Property is great close to hirafu if you're using public transportation the bus stop is just 2 mins walk also from this place. The house is perfect for 5 people bit if you don't mind using floor mattres 6-7 would fit too.. I f you have your own car 2 parking slots are allocated also nice option if you've 2 cars in a big group. There's a nice restaurant just outside also perfect for quick meals and for late night drinks. I would definitely book them again next year.

The house is well kitted, clean and a nice retreat from the city. The vibe of being in a cabin in the woods was lovely. The covers were REALLY comfy and the queen bed was REALLY comfy. Kome was also very responsive and helpful in providing updates about the weather:)

Booking: Our initial booking was cancelled due to high snow fall. Matt & team was very prompt in providing an awesome and superb alternative stay. No regrets and no complains about it. We love the place. Place: Great place, view & enviroment. Clean & beautiful. Heated flooring - we stayed warm throughout. Super spacious 2 floors villa (3 bedrooms on the 1st floor & living hall + kitchen + balcony on the 2nd floor)Plus point standing fans provided. We were surrounded with snow throughout our stay. Our children were super happy. Everything was provided as per described. Accessibility: Short drive to convenience stores & walking distance (50m) from villa to Happo One Resort. Note: We rented a car (from Nagano) and drove for convenience. Team: Check in was easy. They were very helpful with the local recommendations and directions. Definitely a recommended place to stay! Finding the house in the dark after 14 hours of travel was really difficult, but Hideki was very patient with us and responsive. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing. The house was cozy, clean, spacious, and practical. My son had a blast just playing in the endless snow. We rode the free shuttle to Goryu/Iimori (bus stop at end of driveway) 2 days, then took a different free shuttle from Echoland (10min walk) to Tsugaike. We walked 8-18 min in either direction to great restaurants and the 2 supermarkets. We took an Uber a couple times as well (1000+ yen). Extremely great value for this gem of an updated country cabin- we would definitely stay here again.
