The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There are no buildings as far as the eye can see, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the singing of the birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is also spring water (the water quality has been tested and is drinkable). Depending on the season, some people occasionally come to enjoy the river or head to Kappa Falls (150 m from the inn), passing by the river next to the inn. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a BBQ or campfire with the food you bring (we may ask you to refrain from doing so depending on the season and weather). (Please be careful when handling fire.) The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs.
