Restaurants and cafes are right outside the front door. The Neckar and the train station are within walking distance. Heidelberg and Mannheim can easily be reached in about 15 minutes by train. Bikes can be stored in the courtyard, where you can also sit nicely in the summer. For loading and unloading, the car can be parked right in front of the house.

A 15-minute walk from the Rhine, the local recreation area "Blaue Adria" is about 2 km away and is ideal to reach by bicycle. Directly along the Rhine are beautiful bike paths towards Speyer or Ludwigshafen and a ferry goes every 15 minutes to Mannheim (Mon-Sun 5.30 am - 10 pm). In about 300 m distance there is a supermarket, bakery with cafe and an ice cream cafe.
