Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schiltigheim

We recently stayed at this beautiful home with our family of six, including a 4-year-old, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! This property is tucked away in the scenic Alsatian countryside. It is spacious, welcoming, and full of character, making it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The living area was one of the highlights for us—it’s filled with natural light thanks to the large windows that overlook the lush garden. We enjoyed spending time there. The layout of the house is perfect for larger groups, with five bedrooms and additional spaces that provided everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. The garden felt like a private retreat, offering a peaceful space to unwind and let the kids play freely. It was so refreshing to have access to such a quiet outdoor space, away from any disturbances.

Wir haben uns als Familie mit 7 Personen und einem Hund in diesem Fachwerkhaus direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und hat alles was es braucht. Nur die Betten sind für Rückenempfindliche zu weich. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Innenhof ist komplett abgeschlossen, so dass der Hund frei rumlaufen konnte. Le chalet de Sylvie correspond tout à fait au descriptif. Havre de paix sur le balcon en pleine nature. Sylvie et Joseph sont très accueillants, serviables et sympathiques.

Logement au top, je recommande. Encore merci Wolfgang. Si je peux juste apporter une amélioration, il manque de rangement pour nos affaires dans 3 chambres du logement.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Veronique's beautiful place. It was a great house for a weekend with seven friends, with lots of open space (kitchen & living room), a great view of the forest, very clean and useful utilities and spacious rooms to stay. I can only highly recommend this place!

Ursprüngliches Haus in einer sehr guten Lage zwischen Colmar und Strassburg. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Notre séjour à Birkenwald a été une très belle expérience. Le gîte, situé dans un environnement très calme, est confortable, extrêmement propre et très bien agencé. Le tout est décoré avec goût. Ma famille et moi ne pouvons que vous recommander de séjourner chez Matthieu qui est un hôte idéal : sympathique, serviable, accueillant, attentionné, réactif. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Birkenwald pour un séjour à la Grange.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Malgré le mauvais temps, nous avons au moins pu profiter de la cheminée. Merci à nos hôtes qui ont été très réactifs et disponibles.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 3 nuits en famille avec enfant de 4 et 8 ans. (qui ont apprécié pratiquer les beaux escaliers en bois). L'emplacement est excellent pour visiter la ville à pied , aller au parc à toute heure, aller au resto le soir facilement. Logement très agréable pour 4, au calme, très bien équipés dans toutes les pièces. Côté cuisine, nous avons pu utiliser sans souci machines à laver linge et vaisselle, four micro-onde, machine a café capsule, bouilloire, plaques de cuisson. Nous recommandons pour un très bon séjour et une animation très chouette pour les enfants qui ont adoré la vue sur l'ecluse et les bateaux.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Michel est très accueillant, arrangeant, et nous nous sommes sentis à la maison tout de suite. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les viennoiseries et la baguette déposés à notre porte chaque matin, les choses essentielles pour le petit-déjeuner dans le frigo (beurre, lait, jus de pomme, autres boissons et même de la confiture maison!), et juste la gentillesse de Michel. Il m’a même aidé avec ma valise pour monter et descendre les escaliers ☺️. L’appartement lui-même est très mignon et confortable. Il est grand et il y faisait frais malgré qu’il ait fait plus chaud que normal pour le mois d’avril, ce qui était top! Son emplacement est idéal, dans une rue calme mais près de tout (restaurants, cafés etc). Je dirais que le seul inconvénient est vraiment minime: régler la température de l’eau de la douche prend un peu de temps. Elle passe vite du chaud au froid quand on essaie de la régler alors il faut y aller doucement. Nous recommandons fortement!!

We had a wonderful stay. Geny and Richard were exceptionally hospitable, kind, and considerate hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is spacious, cozy, bright, impeccably clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Schöne Wohnung mit ruhiger Lage. War alles top.

Sehr nette Begrüßung Ein echter Kouglof bekamen wir zur Begrüßung. Und wurden die besten Wege zum Europapark und nach Straßburg erklärt. Betten waren gut. Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorhanden. Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine auch.

Wir waren mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern (1,5 Jahre und 3 Monate) und den Großeltern in der Ferienwohnung. Es war für unsere größere Tochter einfach nur wunderbar mit den vielen Spielsachen zu spielen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sodass wir uns auch gut verpflegen konnten. Die Wohnung herrlich eingebettet in dem liebevoll gepflegten Garten. Herrliche Ruhe zum entspannen. Gute Kommunikation mit der netten Julia. Gerne wieder!

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans le logement de Silvia et Thomas. Silvia et Thomas ont été très réactif. Logement est très propre et conforme aux photos. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Logement très bien situé, et plutôt spacieux. Le garage est pratique, et il y aussi des places gratuites dans les rues alentours. Julien est très accueillant et réactif. Le seul inconvénient est la température qui monte vite en étant au 16ème étage.

Sehr schöne Villa in schöner Umgebung. Wir haben die Tage mit der Familie sehr genossen. Sehr freundliche und nette Gastgeber, Kommunikation leicht, direkt und immer erreichbar. Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen und können die Villa sehr empfehlen. Mit kleinen Kindern ist Vorsicht geboten mit den vielen Treppen in und ums Haus.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe und hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt! Der Empfang war äußerst herzlich und freundlich. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen – es ist sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten zur Nutzung. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden drei Tage in der Unterkunft von Eve verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich toll, sehr gut ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen. Durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof kann man mit dem Zug in weniger als einer Stunde Strasbourg erreichen. Eve ist sehr freundlich und meldet sich gleich, wenn man etwas braucht. Alles in Allen sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ferienwohnung; sehr ruhig, schöne Ausblick und gute Ausstattung. da hat man tatsächlich alles was man für eine schöne Zeit mit der Familie und Freunde braucht. die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und auch flexible bei Auschecken. Wir würden sie gerne weiterempfehlen :-)

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Amazing views and so peaceful. We were also so lucky with the weather for the time of year, which helped us enjoy Aurelie's stunning place in Alsace. Many walks and cycles from the door - although not for the faint hearted, lots of up and down!

Hôte très agréable et hyper réactif. Le logement était très agréable, nous avons passé un super moment grâce à tous les jeux et installations proposés.

Everything was as described, in a peaceful and private environment with a polite hostess and all the listed amenities. Calming and relaxing experience. I highly recommended it and would definitely revisit it in the future! A great bonus for us was that pets were allowed and had a great time as well.

Une région magnifique par tous les temps ! randonees nature, visites, artisans, gastronomie, culture ! La location est superbe, confortable, bien équipée, bien agencee pour une famille avec des enfants, décorée avec goût et une vue superbe sur les monts environnants. Nous sommes ravis.
