Our 2nd stay here, still as clean and well maintained as the last time. Quiet street, parking at rear very useful easy walking distance to the North beach and 20-30 mins walk into the town centre

There wasn’t one aspect of this utterly beautiful ‘vintage yet also somehow contemporary’ house that we didn’t appreciate - the stunning wallpapers, the fabulous artwork and furniture, the luxurious bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the kitchen, the attention to every detail and the heavenly smell throughout. It’s a very special place indeed.

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

A Perfect Family Retreat at Lavender Cottage. Our stay at Lavender Cottage was lush. This beautifully quirky cottage provided the perfect blend of comfort, character, and convenience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm ambiance and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The cottage itself is impeccably maintained, offering a fully equipped kitchen . The spacious lounge, complete with a cozy sofas, was ideal for unwinding after a day out. The bedrooms were a haven of tranquility, with luxurious linens and ample storage space, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect for our family, with easy access to Scarborough’s beautiful beaches and Olivers Mount for the cycle festival. Lavender Cottage truly exceeded our expectations. I loved my stay at sea breeze house. The place was clean and tidy and home like. It was central to where i needed to be. The beds was so comfy and the extra touches was lovely: biscuits and chocolates and tea and coffee. Simon had great communication as my husband booked on his account but i was able to give my number and simon helped with any questions i have. I stayed with my dad but will be back to stay in the future and i will definetely recommend to others. Thank you once again

Beautiful property, exactly as described. Well equipped with much appreciated little extras that made our stay very easy. Very comfortable beds and a lovely shower. Fully recommend and would stay again.

We had a great stay and it was perfect for our needs. Spacious modern bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, very quiet. Plenty of parking on high street. The village shop and the nearby pub and cafe was an added bonus.

We stayed on a bank holiday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazing! The location is so easy to find and was right near everything which made it so easy to go to places. Parking was perfect and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking and could just leave the car and go and explore.The hosts were so friendly and easy to contact however we didn’t have an any problems while staying which made our trip even better. The apartment was spotless and designed beautifully but the view from the living room made it even better as we could see the castle and beach. We would definitely recommend booking here!

Cannot fault from start to finish. The hosts were super responsive the apartment was excellent. Ideal place for Scarborough open air theatre events . Everything was excellent private parking and a lift to apartment on top floor with excellent views. Hopefully will be back next time in Scarborough 👍😎

We had a lovely few days at The Sands, lovely apartment, it had everything you would need, amazing views and fantastic location.

A lovely clean basement flat for the 2 of us with our dog. The location is excellent, virtually everything in Scarborough was in walking distance from the flat. John has been a great host from the start to the end of the stay. We recommend a trip to Filey beach if you are bringing your dog. Also a short drive to Robin Hood Bay too. We highly recommend staying in this lovely flat.

Anne was very helpful, communicative and gave us clear information regarding our stay and was happy for us to delay our departure. The flat was beautifully presented with great thought put into guests needs. She had left good instructions and also included parking cards for us which was extremely helpful. We would thoroughly recommend Little Puffin and Anne as a great host. We obviously realised there would be stairs involved but taken with a rest in-between the long runs were "doable" and put down as part of our daily exercise!

Perfect location and size for me and my son. Would do a small family - sofa bed worked well. Kitchen is compact with everything you need. On a second floor with quite a few stairs- not an issue for us but if you don’t do stairs that would be the only issue. Felt private and safe. Didn’t need to meet Dean but every interaction was great. Thanks!

Great flat one street back from the Esplanade. Lovely walks, into Scarborough and the coastal path to Filey. 15 min walk to the open air theatre shuttle bus if you're going to see a band. Easy to catch after the gig with not much waiting around. The flat is modern and very clean. Smart tv's in both bedrooms and the lounge. Kitchen very well equipped. Perfect hosts, very responsive. Highly recommended.

Had a problem with the key when arrived, and it was sorted with in 15 mins. couldn't fault the price and excellent communication from host. I would recommend this property, and would myself stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay , Ray very welcoming and helpful then left you alone to enjoy your stay , everything you needed and safe enclosure for my dog , very good butchers in the village lovely walking and Cod and Lobster in Staithes highly recommend , all in all very enjoyable very quiet , private and peaceful would definitely revisit and recommend

We loved our stay in Amanda's flat. It was very clean and tidy and well equipped with quality furnishings . The flat was very quiet . Paring was very easy and excellent to have. The flat is very well located and town is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat for a short stay in Whitby as Whitby proved to be larger than we appreciated and we realise there is more to see. Also, huge number of good bars and restaurants within easy reach. the sea view is also a huge plus. Only thing we think would improve the flat would be a few more lamps in the living room and bedrooms for ease of reading . Also, a soap tray in the en-suite bathroom would not go amiss. We are already considering booking again while we can.

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! X

We enjoyed our stay in Cloughton it was lovely. Just what we were looking for in an Air b n b . The accommodation was spacious enough for 2 adults and our wee dog . There was tea, coffee, sugar , salt , pepper, butter , jam and milk . All these items were very useful as it saves you bringing your own. Towels and linen were lush. Welcome pack was extensive and very useful. I particularly enjoyed our bottle of wine too . Very nice touch . Highly recommend John’s accommodation. .

This is the 2nd time we have stated here and it will not be the last . Ace location , lovely apartment and fantastic hosts . Looking forward to staying here again already.

Fabulous place to stay. Calm, peaceful and a beautiful view of the sea. I stayed with my husband and two children and we loved it. Lovely walk to pub down the road and only a short drive to Scarborough, Robin hoods bay and Whitby. Would definitely like to visit again!

Such a great apartment. We were both really happy with everything provided. We struggled to find anything wrong. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
