A beautiful , wonderfully decorated house just a 20 min walk to the centre of York . Spotlessly clean and tidy and hosts went to the effort of adding an “ anniversary banner and balloons “ for us which was a lovely touch ( as well as Prosecco and sweet treats ) Hosts were fantastic and very responsive to our messages , we had a fantastic stay . We loved our stay at Sunnyside Barn and would definitely recommend it. Lisa’s house is pristine, stylish, comfortable and lovely to spend time in, with a fantastic garden and patio. (It’s probably the best Airbnb we have stayed in!) The location is great for visiting beaches, seaside towns and places of interest. Lisa was a fabulous and thoughtful host, with lots of helpful advice on local places of interest and good food options. We would highly recommend Sunnyside Barn - what a find!

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We had a wonderful stay and the house is very cosy. Lucy messaged several times to make sure we wanted for nothing. Of all the weekend getaways we’ve had, this was our favourite. Would highly recommend.

Lovely spacious home in a quiet location, ideal for exploring the local area!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Wonderful apartment. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and nice seating/dining area. Great bathroom. Very close to the York Minster, 10 min walk. Easy self check in instructions. The parking space is a added bonus. Andrew -Pass The Keys was always very informative and if you needed to ask a question it was answered within minutes. Highly recommend this beautiful apartment. The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

This is an excellent base if you are visiting York. Its a really comfortable and well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony.

Ray’s lovely cottage lived up to expectations and beyond. There was ample room both inside and out. The furnishings and fittings were of a high standard and supplies of fresh , clean towels and lots of hot water was a bonus. Also the little extras to make you feel at home, tea , coffee , milk and a tea cake. I especially liked the private garden area and the lovely Summer house which was perfect for relaxing in after a days walking. Parking on site is also a big plus. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

This is the 2nd time we have stated here and it will not be the last . Ace location , lovely apartment and fantastic hosts . Looking forward to staying here again already.

A beautiful flat in a lovely market town. Thanks to Diane, we were easily able to find our way from the station and drop our bags off a little early so we could start to take advantage of her local recommendations for a spot of lunch, before enjoying a dessert on the terrace. Both the flat and the town were delightful to spend a couple of days in.

Fabulous place to stay. Calm, peaceful and a beautiful view of the sea. I stayed with my husband and two children and we loved it. Lovely walk to pub down the road and only a short drive to Scarborough, Robin hoods bay and Whitby. Would definitely like to visit again!

Apartment 1 was fantastic for our 2 night stay in Scarborough. Clean, tidy and you really feel at home. Parking is heavily permitted in the surrounding streets but Mark explained it all clearly and it all worked out perfectly. Would highly recommend!
