Holiday rentals with a patio in Scarborough

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Great location and host. There was everything you need in the kitchen from milk to honey. If i go to York again I'd definitely stay in Jane's annex.

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Set just off the road to the north side and a short walk to the castle, is a lovely flat with everything you need for a vacation in Scarborough. It was comfortable and clean with amenities and essentials required for your stay. Clear instructions and a manual provided gave me a hassle free holiday. My son enjoyed using the small desk just at the side of the kitchen to practise his timetables. The bedroom is on the lower floor which meant it was quiet and without windows and light coming in I wasn't disturbed so enjoyed laying in to rest! A lovely flat with responsive hosts.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - a few mins walk in to York - and the facilities were very clean. The communications from the host were good and we'd be very happy to stay here again

This host is prepared! The many thoughtful details made this stay delightful— traditional candies made in York, prosecco, lots of brochures and local suggestions, nice shampoo and toiletries. The walk to town is very doable. We were able to check in an hour early as our train arrived early. Also, we had to abandon a broken suitcase. Stuart was great about helping us with that. Thanks!

We had a brilliant time in this beautiful, quaint cottage. Communication with Charlie was promptly replied to. The cottage had everything we needed and more! We were a party of 5 apparently mature adults and there was plenty of room. Great location for the town centre, train station, castle and walks. We would definitely return again and highly recommend this property 😃

Lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated and the house is spotless and comfortable. David is super lovely and really happy to help. Staithes is a very small and quiet place with some beautiful walks along the coast, my dog loved it. Phone reception is non existent in the village so make sure you know the location prior to arriving. There is wifi in the air b&b. Really enjoyed just relaxing and the log burner plus monopoly was such a wholesome vibe.

Great property and location for a nice quiet stay by the coast. Very close to lots of tourist locations. Very spacious property with a fantastic garden which is ideal if you have a dog.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We had such a lovely stay. The accommodation is like a home from home, it’s really cosy with a lovely design and little touches. The photos of the garden on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a large garden area which is fully secure, meaning we didn’t have to worry about our dogs escaping. We were welcomed with some fresh bread and shortbread and there were balls and bowls for the dogs. The location is great for exploring Whitby, Robins hood bay etc. We got some meat from the local butchers and it was delicious! Would recommend going there too. We would love to stay here again! We didn’t want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great base for walking and exploring the fabulous East Yorkshire coast. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and a genuine home from home. Would certainly stay again.

Lovely stay at the Shed - we've been before and it was just as good if not better second time round

lovely, well equipped apartment. Both beds comfortable king-size. Location is great, 15 mins walk from station and 10 mins from Minster, yet in a quiet , safe neighbourhood

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was great and walkable to the York sites. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again if we are in York again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Stayed here with a friend Friday-Monday and will definitely be returning! The location is about a 4 minute walk from the centre and is in a great location about 2 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything and more what we needed! It is in a nice, peaceful area where we felt safe and at home. This place is perfect for couples, families and friends. I have absolutely no criticism it was perfect!

First time at Max's Hideaway. Val was a very flexible, proactive and responsive host. The apartment was just as described and as shown in the photos. Spotlessly clean and everything you could wish to have on hand and more. Val also provided a few welcome extras (tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, wine etc) so on arrival we weren't needing to dash straight out to do last minute shopping. Really comfortable stay. As a non-pet owner I'm always slightly apprehensive about staying somewhere that allows dogs but the apartment was spotlessly clean and felt like a home from home. Ideally located on the West Cliff a 5 minute walk from local cafes and restaurants, with a wonderful view of the abbey from the front window and a dedicated parking space (a very rare thing in Whitby!) Will definitely be booking to stay here again.

Outstanding! For two travellers Eleanor's quiet haven in York is a gem. Location is ideal being easy walking to/from the hubbub of central York with an elegant setting in leafy quiet retreat after our busy days within the city walls. Furnished tastefully with a period feel, though modern in layout and fit out. Attention to detail with everything awaiting our stay was exceptional.

Absolutely beautiful flat right in the center of York, the balconies and living room have views over York Minster and the location is very walkable to all the major attractions. We loved the location, parked the car and forgot about it which is helpful in York as there is very little parking and what there is is expensive. The flat was very comfortable, larger even then we expected and very stylish interiors and good quality kitchen and bathroom. The instructions provided were easy to follow and we didn't feel we needed to contact the host. Fab stay for our family and we'll be back soon!

Had a really lovely stay at Julie's Apartment. It is very clean and welcoming with everything provided. The location is great, a few minutes walk to a bar and shop. There is also a small amusement arcade. There is direct access to the beach and it is about a 15 min walk. We had lovely weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden outside the apartment especially on an evening. We spent lots of time in Filey and Scarborough. Also visited Sewerby Hall and Gardens which was a lovely day out. The plantpot Festival was on at Flamborough which was really good too. Thank you Julie we look forward to coming back to the Bay and hopefully stay at your lovely apartment again
