The Domaine de Bagard is the legacy of an old hamlet of the medieval village of Sauve. It then became a magnanerie (silkworm farm). It covers 11 hectares, on the side of a hill of garrigue, typical of the Cévennes foothills. In the middle of the Domaine flows a natural spring (a true Vauclusian-type resurgence) and below the Vidourle river. Our family lives on the property (Our house is at the north end of the building) the tenants live at the south end of the building. As a result, parties and (loud) music are forbidden.
