We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

We had a great time in Francesca's chalet. The accommodation was very clean, so we had no concerns about letting our baby play on the floor. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. We were particularly pleased with the board games in the living room drawer. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen smelled very fresh, so we felt comfortable right away.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

What a great spot! Super sunny tree-top views upstairs, cool and cozy downstairs great for sleeping in. Lots of thoughtful amenities around the apartment, salt and pepper, sunglasses, etc. And such a cute neighborhood!

I immediately fell in love with the loft. Everything was right, Maaike has an exceptionally good furnishing style, just to fall in love and coordinated in every detail. The loft is huge and plenty of space. Thank you Maaike and Mark for this great opportunity to enjoy my spa vacation in beautiful Holland. Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanvort by the sea and Alkmaar can be reached in no time by car and train. The weather was also right, so 10 out of 10 points.

Max was a great host, the communication was easy and friendly. Even if we didn't have to use it, we knew we could contact him at any time. He sent us a great brochure with all the information about the accommodation, the area and bar and restaurant recommendations. The accommodation looks great and has been furnished with great attention to detail.

Jaron and Jill were very nice hosts. We had an issue with the drain and Jaron took care of it right away. Parking was possible right outside the door. The furnishings are tasteful and the terrace has great evening sun! The town of Limmen doesn't have much, but at least a good supermarket and bakery within walking distance and the surrounding area is great! We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

Danny and Bernice’s home was exactly what we were after - a home away from home with everything we needed and a space to enjoy as a family. The train station was 5mins walk from the house and the journey into Amsterdam was very easy. We also used their bikes and cycled around the local area which was very nice. The grocery shop was also not far to walk and had everything you would need. We highly recommend a stay here.

We had a very nice stay at Harm's place. The accommodation was ideal for 2 adults and 1 child and the possibilities with the backyard and front yard give a lot of space, especially with a child. Beautiful small and quiet place with everything you need for a short break. 1 Supermarket with fresh bread rolls is 2 min /walk away and the way to the beach is also within walking distance. However, you can also park very well on the beach by car. Parking was generally very good on the streets. There was always one free, even in relation to the accommodation. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather the first few days, but we still enjoyed the stay very much. Harm was a very friendly host. Thank you, we will be happy to come back, then with sun ☀️ ☺️

Hello, we had a warm welcome when we arrived, and Anita waited for us, because we were a little late at arriving. Very kindly to us. We are 3 older couples and we felt us immediately at home. Everything was there what we need for our stay. The most time we cooked in the good kitchen, wonderful to eat in the nice living room. The neighborhood is very silence, the northsee is 5 km away, haarlem 2,3 km. We really enjoyed our stay. Rainer

We had a great stay at Marianne's house! The living area is beautifully large and looks even more inviting in reality than in the photos. There was more than enough space for the four of us, so we could all feel comfortable. The house has a beautiful garden to offer, where you can sit in peace. Particularly practical: shopping facilities are within easy walking distance, and there is free parking directly on the street. The bus and train connections are also excellent – perfect for excursions without a car. Marianne was always quick to reach with questions :)

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

We were guests in Marja's house for a week in June 2025 and felt very comfortable. Our 15-year-old daughter had her own kingdom upstairs with a bathroom and enjoyed it very much😉. The house offers a good starting point for various activities - very good train connection to Amsterdam, wonderful bike tours in the area or just a visit to the beach. Gladly again!

this place is wonderful, outside the city and a nice little oasis! prepare for the wind, but no complaints!
