This is a very cool and peaceful space in the heart of Oaxaca. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from all the best cafés, restaurants, galleries, and the Sánchez Pascuas market, yet quiet and calm at night for restful sleep. Jude is a fantastic host and full of thoughtful recommendations that made our stay even more special. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook meals (including multiple coffee-making options). The WiFi was fast and reliable for work and video calls, and the little details — like a welcome bottle of mezcal and high-quality linens — made us feel instantly at home. This is one of those places you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommended.

My stay was beautiful. The home is bright, clean, & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s no oven, but I cooked every meal I wanted. The bed is comfy, & the patio is perfect for breakfast. There’s a stunning hike nearby. Map to “Montecito,” take the left fork, and it loops back to the house. More trails are a short taxi ride away. Buses to the city are easy (10 pesos), & DiDi for taxi. Maria offers a ride if it aligns with her work schedule. She’s incredibly kind & genuinely cares about her guests. Filtered water is available upon request, which was super helpful. There’s also a sweet cleaning service from Carmelita. The local market near Mula Café has amazing fresh produce. The neighborhood is peaceful & friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as dogs sometimes bark at night. This place feels like home thanks to the love and generosity of Maria and her family. I’m so grateful to have found it.

A modern apartment in a friendly Mexican colonia.

Gio's place was perfect for my few nights in Oaxaca and I appreciated how attentive he was to all the details and any questions I had. The apartment had everything I needed and I slept very comfortably each night. One thing, the windows overlook a street that was busy at some times and noisy at times. It didn't bother me but it is worth nothing. I'd stay there again.

Loved this flat! Such a great location so comfortable close to everything! - you have everything you need in the flat. I felt safe and secure in the neighbourhood and found everyone so friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic taco restaurant next door and a great cafe called Rustiko up the block. Highly recommend this place and will stay again when I return to this lovely city

The room is very well equipped, the air conditioning is a plus for the heat of Oaxaca. You have shops, supermarkets and the centre 15 minutes away on foot. Would definitely stay here again. In addition, Karla was always very friendly and responded quickly to our questions

Great place, very comfortable, close to everything.

**Great stay in a comfortable spot!** I really enjoyed my time here — the space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout, which made everything super easy. The neighborhood felt safe during the day and has a local, authentic vibe, but I wouldn’t recommend walking around late at night — taxis are a better option after dark. Also, keep in mind that Uber doesn’t operate in Oaxaca, so local taxis are the way to go. The bus terminal is about a 10-minute taxi ride away, which was super convenient. Overall, a great place if you're looking for comfort and a more local experience!

The loft is outstanding! Very beautiful, clean, comfortable and nearby the centre with a lot of restaurants. The bed is amazing: very big and comfortable. Maria Claudina is a great host with quick responses on messages/questions. The only thing what was not so comfortable for us (light sleeper/sensitive), was that the light is coming from the roof windows what wakes us up very early. Together with a very noisy bird who likes to scream (or sing, depending on your preferences. ;-)), our days began earlier than we would like. But all together: we would book the loft again if we visit Oaxaca ever again! Thank you Maria Claudina and Dennys!

The location is very good, there is a park two blocks away, a nice area of restaurants two blocks away and a tourist area nearby. The place is nice, clean, quiet and well equipped, the bed is very comfortable and the mini-split works well.

Pros: - really central, close to restaurants, tour meeting points and thé city center - Larger than it looks - Really stocked kitchen if you opt to eat in - Martine was friendly and had some really great recommendations - Left us drinking water, and some toiletries which was a really nice touch Cons: - water pressure could be better but most likely a regional issue

I had a great experience during my stay. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive. I requested a few recommendations and she was quick to assist us in what we needed. The location was fantastic- walking distance to many restaurants, el zocalo, and Mercado 20 de Noviembre. The space was well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full size mirror, which I noticed many places fail to have. There is a small store next door where one can buy snacks, water, ect. Overall, the host's attention to detail and great location where the highlights of this stay!

The place is far from the centre of Oaxaca where many of the things to see and do are, you’ll need a car if you stay here - Taxis aren’t as accessible / convenient depending on time of day. Otherwise, great place and made use of the rooftop. Very clean, easy check in.

great place to stay with a big group

Due to the geography of the city, in this area the houses do not handle garcheras, if you are one of those who car is very worried about leaving your car in the street Think well, if you arrive without a car , it is the best because you remove that earring. Of the rest, everything is OK host and installation.

Our stay was very comfortable, the guard was always very attentive and friendly, it is worth making room to enjoy the apartment, the area is quiet and the view is beautiful. Rosa provides you with all the necessary information about the place and recommendations for the city. As a recommendation, you should book taxis in advance for departures.

A highly recommended place, we loved everything, the jacuzzi is amazing, everything is very tidy, clean and beautiful. We would definitely come back.
