Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Jorge was attentive to my arrival by message and gave me very clear instructions to get well. Already in the house his brother Fernando was the one who attended us, super friendly, attentive and very attentive to the messages I came to send him. He also gave us recommendations for where to eat and how to diffrute our stay. What was fantastic is that the photos corresponded to the house, everything was very well cared for, and also every room had a Smart TV, ceiling fan and foot cooler, so in the house we don't suffer from heat. I highly recommend staying at Casa Roche.

Absolutely loved this house! Beautifully designed, open air roof top was great to hang out and spend time. All rooms are comfortable, with the house being spacious enough to host our family and friends trip. Located in a lovely neighbourhood, approximately 15 minutes walk from centro and other main areas. The detail in the art and design makes it a wonderful time, highly reccomend! Hosts were helpful and available for anything we needed during the stay, thank you!

Excellent house to spend a few days with friends. The house is fully equipped for the number of people staying. The pool is small but sufficient to cool off and socialize around it. The house is very comfortable.

Accommodation that's worth what you pay. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

I would happily stay here again! The location is quiet and short walking distance to all the restaurants in town. Oaxaca is an old rustic city & the house reflects the rustic aesthetic of the city. The house is a sleeper from the exterior. Once inside you see the biggest selling point of this house--4 separate spaces for guests to hang out. The kitchen is the central hub. The courtyard is green with vegetation and hummingbirds. The terrace overlooks the city and is amazing. Also on the 2nd floor is a sun deck and 2 person pool. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and 3 bathrooms are plenty. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom and other large bedroom has bathroom just two steps away. The many gathering areas beat a hotel any day. Mari managed the property while we were there and you can arrange for in home prepared meals. Nothing short of AMAZING. Her mole equaled the Michelin star restaurants in town. We did tours with Zapotec Travel, which were great.

Lovely home with a nice courtyard and pool. Quiet neighborhood. Although not within walking distance to Centro Historico, there are buses nearby and cabs as well. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Tule. Adella was an incredibly generous and gracious host, answering all questions immediately and giving us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. The house is beautifully decorated and cared for. We were treated like welcome guests more than like renters. We loved Tule and Oaxaca was 20 minutes away and an incredibly magical city.

We loved our stay at Mauricio's place. He was kind enough to allow us a bit of an early check in to escape the heat. The apt was a great and comfortable stay for our few days in Oaxaca.

Claude was very friendly, flexible and we loved her classic VW! The bungalow is very tidy, with the necessary amenities, a super comfortable bed that we wanted to take and a huge garden so our dog can run and loiter. We had a very relaxed and peaceful time. I'd like to come back when it's all greener. Thank you so much for everything Claude!

Great central apartment for anyone looking to stay at the center of everything.

This place was great! A perfect fit for me as a solo traveller who likes her space :). The bed is comfy, the kitchen and living space are welcoming, and the shower does get hot (just gotta have some patience with it!). The location is walkable to everything you need to access in Centro. It is a thoughtfully designed space with all the amenities you need! The hosts are super responsive which is always nice! There is street noise at night so if you are super sensitive to noise this may not be the right fit, but it didn’t bother me! Enjoy your stay!

We were very comfortable. It is a small 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a building, you have to go down steps and it is very well located, the only thing I would point out for a review is that there are no curtains, which makes you not feel so private and the apartment is hot, although there are fans maybe it is a good idea to add air conditioning even if it raises the price, it is worth it. Everything was clean.

I have stayed in 30+ airbnbs and Karen's was easily among the best. The pictures do not do it justice. It's a unique home with two beautiful courtyards in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oaxaca, a few nice coffee spots nearby and walkable to El Llano park and el centro. One of the bedrooms is a loft type situation but the other is separated from the main living space giving it nice privacy. Not recommended for kids or anyone who has trouble with stairs given the layout but that was not an issue for our group. Karen is a wonderful host who had a lovely spread of local treats awaiting us upon our arrival. Absolutely recommend casa Viva!
