Perfect location by the sea

Welcome! The house is situated by the foot of internationally famous "Hammars Backar" , some 15 km east off medieval town of Ystad. Between the house and the sea it´s only about 300 meters of untouched nature ( the whole area is a Nature Reserve)! Cows rule! The house is very big, and hosts an architectual practice as well as the spacious living area. However, the office is closed during the summer, and you´ll get the house and garden all to yourselves. The village Hammar is very small and peaceful, a perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Livingroom with sofabed and TV. Sleeping room 1. with 3 beds, sleeping room 2. with a double bed. Guest house overlooking the fields.

Guest house of approx. 50 sqm, a few kilometres outside Ystad. Here you live quietly and peacefully right next to the fields in a farm environment. Outside the patio door, there is a private patio facing south. Car can be parked right outside the house. In the house, there is a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed (180 cm), and on the sleeping loft, which is accessed via a stepladder, there are two single beds (90 cm x 2). Cot is available to borrow. The bike path will take you all the way to Ystad (about 7 km to the city center), there are bikes to borrow.

The property includes a large landscaped garden, ‘Ola’s Garden’, which is 100 years old. The garden is full of leafy trees, flowers and plants that make every season unique. Cozy and calm street house right in the old city center. Very close to city square, communications, marina, beach and good restaurants - all within few minutes of walk. The house is in two levels connected with a steep staircase and hence less suitable if poor walking or for children without having assistance. Our guests have free access to the padel courts (both doubles and singles courts) at Öja Padel Park, about 7 minutes by car from the house. Talk to the host about how you book.

This house was originally the old fire station that used to be in the village, but has since been carefully renovated and retained its charm with the raw stone walls, ceiling beams and beautiful stone floors. A short walk will take you down to the charming old fishing village in the harbor. There is a smokehouse, restaurants, shops, café and ice cream kiosk.
