Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Luis Obispo

This was my third time staying with Susan and Greg, and every stay at their cottage in Baywood has been a blast. It’s peaceful, quiet, and Susan and Greg are wonderful hosts. The cottage is in the perfect spot to be able to walk to anything in Baywood Park (be sure to check out High Street Deli and Noi’s 2nd Street Cafe!). I’ve made it a point to stay here every time I’m down in the area for a longer trip, I can’t recommend it enough.

I have stayed in a million Airbnbs over the years and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The house was impeccable, pristine and so beautiful. The view is incredible. Sitting on the patio at night and watching the sunset or sitting in the hot tub under the stars was the best part of everyday. However, as incredible as the house was, April and her team were the real stars. They were so responsive to all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. I have never had such a responsive and caring host. I will be dreaming of coming back here as soon as I can! Book it, you will be so glad you did!

Chelsea’s place is a gem in SLO. It is situated in a prime location where you can walk 1 min to the Co-Op grocery store or 4-5 min to restaurants nearby. The house itself had all the amenities listed and was very spacious. It was perfect for working remotely. Chelsea was very responsive prior to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Beth and Paul's house - everything was super well equipped and set up, the house felt super homey and comfortable, and everything we could have possibly needed was there. They were great communicators, super helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Here’s a polished and friendly review you can use for Airbnb: We loved our stay at Thomas’s place! The location is perfect—walking distance to great bars, restaurants, and just steps from the water. The space itself is super cute, private, and comfortable. Thomas has two cats and a dog, all incredibly friendly, but the real star of the show is his co-host, Sylvester the cat. He’s got a big personality and was happy to hang out with us as much as we let him. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll adore him. The house was stocked with a few thoughtful provisions, and we especially appreciated the ice cream bars—such a nice touch. Hopefully Thomas’s place is available the next time we’re in Los Osos. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Great stay at the cabin. Totally cute. Very clean. Coming from LA, it was so nice to get some quiet. Feels far away and peaceful while being just a short ride from the action. One of our most pleasant stays in SLO. Thank you!

Erika’s home was everything we’d hoped for and so much more. The stay was simply perfect for my partner and me. We could do our morning workouts on the patio, enjoy the gorgeous views with just enough sunshine and breeze, and then sip our morning beverages. Every part of this home is divine. My birthday is coming soon, and I'll definitely be checking to see if the property is available.

We loved our stay at Nottage! Beautiful place to stay. We felt at home. Very quiet, the place has everything you need and more. Diane is very organized and really made that place a gem. I would love to go back but not sure when we will be able to enjoy this place again due to it be always booked out. This is a lovely place - so bright and airy! The neighborhood is very quiet, with easy access to short walks. Perfect if you bring your dog, too. I loved the little touches that make this place special, such as live plants, nice art on the walls, color-coordinated towels and furniture. Also, views of the surrounding hills. And a charger for our hybrid car! The apartment is squeaky clean; the hosts are responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again on one of our visits to the Central coast!

This home was great! Absolutely no complaints! Corey and the team were very proactive in contacting us and everything was super clear. In case your group brings two cars, just know there's only one parking spot on the property but plenty of street parking nearby. My group had two cars and I had absolutely no issue finding parking and the area felt really pretty safe. Highly recommend for a weekend trip to check out SLO and that part of the central coast!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Mary Anne’s little oasis. It is the perfect size for two people with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely book another vacation at her place.

Plenty of space. Hosts were great. Enjoyed the country feeling but only a couple miles from the Village of AG or the 101 freeway.

We loved our stay at Marianne’s flat! The apartment felt spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. The location was ideal, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Marianne was very responsive and accommodated a later checkout time. We’d recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again in the future!

The place was very nice and clean and the instruction to find the place was very accurate. Make sure to read the notes shared to find the property as it is a little confusing to find the property if you only rely on the google map. The instructions make it very easy to find it. The property was nice, clean, big, and had all the things we needed and we definitely want to go back. The host is very responsive even when I messaged him at 11 pm and the property is 5 minutes from the beach.

We had a great stay. We would actually stay at this place again. It’s super close to the beach and all of the Pismo Beach area has to offer. Amber has an annual vehicular beach pass for us to use. We took advantage of enjoying the beach with our vehicle, and it was extremely convenient when we wanted to see the sand dunes. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The couch was very comfortable. The bed was also very comfy. Amber labels things (even on light switches) and gives details on how to use things (locking the door, using the fireplace, everything!!). She offers her cell phone number to us, which is quite unusual. We usually have to wait for a long time for a response. Amber is SO detailed and had everything well organized that we never had to text her. SHE texted us to ask if we had any questions or if we needed info on where to go, etc. You know how friends want you to feel comfortable while staying over their house? That is AMBER! 10/10 amazing place! My family and I loved it as soon as we walked in. Very beautiful, clean, and a cool experience. Our plan to go to the beach went away and all we wanted to do was to stay at the house. So cozy and relaxing. Felt we were inside a magazine! A dream vacation and stay. Beds were comfortable, everything was working, plenty of towel, walkable to shops and beach, the rooftop was so fun and cool! Nothing bad to say about this place and in fact we want to come back! This was our third stay at this beautiful Pismo Beach condo, and it truly feels like our home away from home. It’s become our favorite spot for our annual summer trip, and each time we return, it somehow gets even better. We noticed a few thoughtful updates since our last visit, and everything was just perfect. The view from the dining and living room is so stunning, we never even feel the need to go out for dinner—we’d rather enjoy every sunset right here. The place is fully stocked with everything you could need, making it easy and comfortable for our little family of four. We already can’t wait to come back!
