Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Salem

I had an amazing time staying at Craig’s place. Craig was quite kind to me and my brother and was extremely accommodating. I would argue that this was my best experience with AirBnB.

This was a great spot for a large group of people! Public transit into the city was very easy to get to and figure out with multiple stops available for the buses to the trains!

Marie was quick to respond to my questions and the space itself was immaculate and extremely convenient. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that allowed pets before, and I was pleased that Marie’s space was completely free of pet hair and odors. (I am allergic to dogs and have a very sensitive sense of smell — the fact that I saw and smelled nothing is really unusual for a space that has hosted dogs.) Super easy to walk from this spot to Main Street for quick access to shops and restaurants. Would definitely book this space again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Jamie provided very clear communication and there were no surprises. Everything was as described. Also the place was stocked with extra supplies like sunscreen, earplugs, basic shower utilities, and there was coffee. I'm glad we stayed here. Super close to the T also, so getting downtown without a car was no issue.

Great location- this space nestled in a really cozy corner of Union Square. Elizabeth was very accommodating and a great host. I stayed there for a month and never got over the stained glass and balcony views. The space was as described and felt well cared for.

I loved staying at Steven’s place, it was cozy, clean and home like! Easy check in, no annoying outlandish rules, (could have company, even a small gathering). Would come back.

I loved my stay at Lynn’s rental. The space is even nicer than the photos. It’s filled with Oaxaca creatures and the copious amount of books included one of my favorites: Edna St Vincent Millay. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower was lovely. There’s an enormous closet to store your suitcases & clothes in. I found the setting peaceful, quiet and soothing. Lynn was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take advantage of her recommendations for things to do in the area since I was visiting family. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

A perfect stay! Ken, Jim, and Rusty have created a delightful b&b. The room was relaxing as soon as we stepped in, the bathroom was furnished with plenty of towels and there were fluffy bathrobes in the closet. We loved the stone flooring in the shower too! And the bed was the most comfortable I’ve stayed in at an Airbnb for a long time. The breakfast nook was furnished with a variety of coffee, tea, and cereal and plenty of dairy/non dairy options. The house is spacious and felt easy to navigate, and the laundry room upstairs with a cordless iron came in handy. We appreciated that this was a dog friendly place, and our little dog had a great time with Rusty. Restaurants are walkable and all I have left to say is run and make your reservation 😊

Perfect spot for family get-togethers. Each bedroom has privacy, and plenty of bathroom space. Child-friendly. Excellent kitchen for cooking for a group, well stocked, and two large refrigerators. Great dining table and benches to fit everyone around one table. Nice outdoor seating on multiple levels. Exceeded expectations (and how often does that happen?!). Our thanks to our excellent hosts.

I was in town to run the BAA Half Marathon and this was conveniently located near the start/finish. There was another guest there, but we didn't see them much and it wasn't an issue. The place was clean and we appreciated the amenities. The neighborhood is super walkable with lots to do. Francisco was helpful and communicated well throughout our stay.

Relocating to a town hours away for a summer job made me very nervous - but Laurie’s place felt just like home! She is so nice, the house is clean and cozy, the neighborhood is lovely, and all the other guests are respectful/kind as well. I’m so glad I chose this airbnb to stay in and highly recommend it. No problems at all.

Ken and Jim's home lived up to the reviews and more. They were warm, welcoming and thoughtful, and they anticipated every need. Ken even refused to let me wash my own breakfast dishes because he didn't want me to be late for an appointment! They and their housemate Lindsay were a pleasure to spend time. Their home is beautiful, and they make you feel that it is your home too. The bedroom was lovely with a very comfortable bed, and there was plenty of room to spread out in and relax. I loved sitting with Rusty and got to enjoy the hot tub. Guests staying longer could take advantage of their beautiful kitchen, the gym and the laundry room. Roslindale Square was a two-minute walk away, but the neighborhood was quiet. Parking was easy too. I enjoyed two great restaurants, and noticed stores, a library and a public green that I might get to enjoy next time. I will definitely return to Ken and Jim's home and cannot recommend it highly enough!

The house is in a good location, easily accessible from the center with the green metro. The room was very cozy and clean, as well as the bathroom, which is shared with the owners. The best part of the house is definitely Angela and Brian, really great and hospitable hosts. Highly recommended!

Place was great, close to the beach and boardwalk. Far enough away where you didn’t have to deal with noise and nonsense! House fit our 6 guests comfortably and the decks were nice to sit out on! Kitchen had everything you could need! Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this location on several occasions and will be back. The location is perfect for our needs. We have never had a problem with parking. The room is large, clean and well furnished with access to a big kitchen and bath shared with one other room. Francisco is very responsive if anything needs attention, but we have only had to contact him once or twice for minor issues.

The check-in process was seamless, and the communication with Francisco was excellent—quick responses, helpful local recommendations, and a genuine effort to ensure my stay was perfect. The space itself is stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail is thoughtfully curated. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the area. I can’t recommend this Airbnb highly enough!

Comfortable layout for two families- appreciated locks on each door and smart TVs in each room, and enjoyed walking to Franklin Park and Sam Adams Brewery. Easy access to metro. Francisco was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout.

Our short stay was needed and this location was exactly what we was looking for! Very accommodating, private. Made us feel right at home. Our one complaint would just be the wifi. We struggled to get connected even with simple instructions. All in all, I would DEFINITELY reserve this location for our travels/vacations in the future! Thanks, Rick

Andrew's place was great. The room and attached balcony are nice and Andrew is very friendly, responsive host. Great location, 20 minute walk to Davis Square and 7 minute walk to Green Line metro station.

Vanna and Jenny are two of the friendliest people I've met, and this place felt like home to me. The house itself is very modern, and the room has plenty of natural light and everything you would expect in a bedroom in your own home. Vanna and Jenny made sure I had privacy in my room while still giving me the opportunity to socialize and hang out outside. Lastly, this review would be incomplete without mentioning how awesome Carbon was! Carbon changed my opinion about pit bulls. He is a very well-behaved dog and extremely sweet and friendly. I highly recommend this place! 10/10.
