You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it's a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or multiple nights. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can get here by public transport, but it's more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers can be arranged for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult with us in advance as we can arrange car rental. There is still availability on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips during the second half of the summer holidays, as well as for couples and small groups.

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. Retreat Lodge where you can enjoy seasonal medicinal herbs and a natural hot spring (pets allowed)

A tiny house and herbal retreat surrounded by the rich nature of Shinshu. You can freely use more than 80 kinds of medicinal herbs to heal your mind and body with herbal tea and herbal baths. In the living room with a wood-burning stove, you can read or have tea while surrounded by the warmth of the fire. There is a fire pit and pizza oven in the garden, where you can enjoy a campfire and homemade pizza. Outside the window is "Bingshi no Sato Park" with seasonal views. Enjoy picnics, morning walks, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in the lawn plaza. You can bring your pets and stroll through nature together. A hot spring with a view is a 1-minute drive away, and there are many local hot springs within a 10-minute drive. If you stretch your legs a little, you can also visit Ueda Castle, Seikogen, and the Power Spot tour. Bedding includes 1 double bed in the loft (single futon can be added on request), 1 double futon bed in the first floor tatami space, and a single bed on the couch sofa. It can accommodate up to 5 people.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

The bathroom can also be enjoyed in the JAXSON jetted tub, a large sauna for 4 people in the metos, and a rain shower in the water bath. Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
