House holiday rentals in Saint-Privat-des-Vieux

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

This stay at Chiara's was a wonderful break! Chiara and her family are particularly warm, caring, friendly hosts. The apartment is perfect for a restful and relaxing stay. We will have great pleasure in returning, surely soon;)

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

An incredibly pleasant place, a peaceful and bright environment. It was a real pleasure to stay in Alexandre's house: the rooms are spacious and pleasant, the outside perfectly maintained and Alexandre's welcome perfect, knowing that he was able to be very flexible with the arrival time. this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

The lodge is located in the middle of a beautiful natural environment. You can completely unwind there. We slept a total of 2 nights in the lodge because of our transit and went to explore the area by car. There is plenty to do for those who love sporting activities and you can find nice wine farms and cheese shops to take home. The house was beautiful and the interior was well thought out. We recommend everyone to stay here!

A peaceful oasis, wonderful for relaxing, sun all day, good facilities: terrace with seating, barbecue and loungers. Here we were able to switch off perfectly. Thank you, Bastien.

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

We had a great stay at the magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

A rejuvenating stay in this little cocoon, totally in line with the photos, and relaxation assured in complete discretion thanks to the jacuzzi. Charming and warm hosts who welcome us with great kindness and a bottle of fresh rosé in the fridge 🙏 We had a great time in this cottage and highly recommend this choice, which delighted us for this enchanting break.

Great stay in this very comfortable accommodation in which we immediately felt very good. Marion is very welcoming and available! The bedding is extremely comfortable and the accommodation is well equipped. The calm of the place is refreshing. We had a really relaxing stay. I recommend it!!

We had a great long weekend in Gil and Katy's cottage. Everything is done to facilitate our stay and we were very well received (cold drinks and ice cubes available upon arrival). The chalet is clean and comfortable, the big plus of this stay: a real unlimited jacuzzi We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

A haven of peace! Tastefully decorated home. The bed is very large and very comfortable. Functional accommodation and corresponding to the listing. The hot tub is a real plus!! There were 2 of us with a dog and everything was suitable (closed gate and spacious grounds).

It was a wonderful stay. For a weekend, we were able to enjoy François' accommodation, which is very well equipped. The view is breathtaking, the environment is soothing and rejuvenating. We had a great and relaxing time in Celia's extraordinary and stylish little house! We immediately felt comfortable and welcome, everything was exactly as described and beyond that nothing was missing! Célia really made an effort and put a lot of love into the furnishings and design! We were in the small village by the river at the beginning of June and enjoyed the peace and seclusion there very much, bathing spots are within walking distance when it is hot. There are also many other sporting activities. Célia gives very precise instructions. We ate excellently at the restaurant "Bouchon Cévenol" in Chamborigaud!

We wished we booked more than 2 nights…this place is a gem!! Peaceful and beautiful inside and out. Great kayaking nearby!!!
