Grächen is a wonderful, family-friendly mountain village. In every season you can enjoy the area in a sporty manner or quite comfortably from the magnificent nature. Hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing,... Children also enjoy hiking next to the 'Suonen' [historic irrigation channels], playing on the Hannigalp or climbing in the Robis playground. You don't even need the car here. But there are also great excursions: Zermatt, Saas-fee, the longest suspension bridge, Sion, Leukerbad... even Italy is not far away.

03 Hikers-Room near Zermatt / Europaweg

Comfortable room with bunk beds and a private washbasin. The sanitary facilities are located in the modern shared area of the campsite. Access to a fully equipped kitchen is included. The rooms follow the well-established concept of traditional Swiss mountain huts. Pillows and duvets are provided; however, the beds are not made with bed linen. Guests are therefore required to bring their own sleeping bag or hut sleeping bag for their stay. Towels are included in the accommodation.

We, a family with a child, dog, cats and horses, rent a cozy studio on the ground floor of our house in ST NIKLAUS (NOT LOCATED IN ZERMATT!!!) Check in from 3 pm!! Private entrance on the ground floor of the house, incl. Parking and garden patio - Rural surroundings. In winter, we recommend only bringing 4WD cars due to the snow!! 20 min WALK from St Niklaus station (up & downhill - way direction see in our profile!) NO TAXI OR BUS FROM THE TRAIN STATION!! No Smoking!

Zum Alten Schulhaus: Cozy apartment on the upper floor with great views and lots of sun in the traditional Valais with everything needed for a holiday in the Alps. We often use the apartment for our family vacation, so it is well maintained and furnished. In just 30 minutes by train in Zermatt, in 45 minutes in Visp and 1 hour in Brig. Parking is available right in front of the house, Wi-Fi is available. The price already includes the visitor's tax.
