Modern Morgengruss | 3 Min. Walk to Station

St. Niklaus is nestled in the Mattertal mountain panorama at 1120m altitude. No wonder that it is known for its pioneering mountain guides. Just a stone’s throw from the big destinations of Zermatt and Saas-Fee lies the mountain and industrial village of St. Niklaus. The world’s biggest Father Christmas towers over the village at Christmas and the Alpine Guide Museum presents the history of alpinism. In Switzerland’s deepest valley, direct access to beautiful nature and the majestic mountain scenery makes many varied hikes and mountain bike tours possible.

Chämï-hitta

Grächen is a wonderful, family-friendly mountain village. In every season you can enjoy the area in a sporty manner or quite comfortably from the magnificent nature. Hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing,... Children also enjoy hiking next to the 'Suonen' [historic irrigation channels], playing on the Hannigalp or climbing in the Robis playground. You don't even need the car here. But there are also great excursions: Zermatt, Saas-fee, the longest suspension bridge, Sion, Leukerbad... even Italy is not far away.
