Ideally located to discover beautiful island. Close to park, restaurants and bars, city center, coast and supermarket around the corner. With public transport closeby easy to go around the island. Can recommend this to everybody and would love to come back at same place!

We spent 3 nights in this very beautiful, tastefully decorated apartment. The beach is right next door, private parking makes parking easy. We were hosted very well by Florian's mom. The area is beautiful and quiet. I recommend this accommodation and the area.

Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated and close to the sea. Positive points for a family stay: recent and comfortable bedding, baby equipment and games for children available in the apartment.

We were warmly welcomed by Paul and Annie who showed us nothing but kindness, and went out of their way to be helpful. Especially when we were faced with some frustrating hiccups concerning our travel arrangements. The apartment was spacious, cosy and uncluttered, with a well equipped kitchen that led to a courtyard ideal for a sunny morning coffee and al fresco suppers. We both slept well in wonderfully comfortable beds. In fact the house itself has an intriguing back story! Thanks to you both for making sure we had a relaxing holiday.

A lovely apartment right in the centre of Carteret with views over the quay and estuary. Clean, well appointed and close to a great Boulanger/patisserie for breakfast croissants etc.. We walked and cycled mainly, the views over the sea and coastline are magnificent. Would definitely recommend it!

We wanted to thank you for hosting your beautiful little house. We had a great time! The bedding was really perfect and everything was tastefully decorated, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Only small downside: the barbecue was a little small for a group of 14 people, but that didn't spoil our pleasure. Thanks again for everything!

Everything went very well as usual when we come to Carteret, which we love for its calm and the beauty of its landscapes. We really enjoyed the apartment, very nice, convenient, nicely furnished and decorated. A stone's throw from the dunes and close to the beaches, it is a small peaceful cocoon conducive to disconnection. The apartment is very well maintained and comfortable. You have access to a small landscaped garden at the front but also one at the back. The hamlet, where the apartment is located, in addition to being entirely pedestrian is very cute and well maintained The geographical location of the studio is extraordinary, in the middle of the dunes, 20 min walk to an incredible beach, 20 min walk to the village and hiking trails that pass right next to it. Anyway, I recommend it and I'll come back.

We had a pleasant stay at Vincent's place! Accessible apartment, close to the beach, and less than 5min drive from the city center. The accommodation offers useful and functional appliances, impeccable bedding and nicely decorated. We'll be happy to go back! We recommend this listing without a shadow of a doubt.

We had a very good stay in your town. The place is spacious and bright. Accessibility to shops and the beach on foot is a real plus. Thank you for your availability and the flexibility you have given us on departure and arrival times.

Clear and welcoming cottage, functional and comfortable. Very quiet at the end of September, certainly livelier in July and August. Nice walk from the rental to the Carteret lighthouse where we admired the exhibition of superb photos on the lighthouses of France and elsewhere. The week of September 21-28 was very windy and rainy and we were unfortunately not able to enjoy the terrace and garden. Essential vehicle for shopping, but the distance is short. I really enjoyed Paule's watercolors.

One of the nicest apartments we've ever stayed in. Beautifully appointed and with a lot of care taken to providing for our comfort. The position is ideal, on a pretty cobbled street full of character, but just a short distance from the harbour front, where there are breathtaking views out over St Aubin Bay and a good selection of quality bars and restaurants. The beach is also within easy reach. There are excellent public transport links to get around the island and it's also ideally sited for walking and cycling in the island's wonderful scenery and countryside. We shall be back!

Carteret has become a favourite place for us to visit in early summer. We’ve stayed in a few different hotels and apartments but this is the first time we have rented Brigitte’s space and what a lovely place it is! The location is absolutely perfect with beautiful views over the sand dunes at Barneville. The apartment is very comfortable and is a perfect size for a family of four, we were a party of 3 adults and the space itself was more than adequate to accommodate our needs. Brigitte’s apartment was very cozy and welcoming and was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if you're looking to unwind in a beautiful setting! Carteret is a charming little town which offers just the right balance of peace and comfortable living, we will definitely be back next year if not before and Brigitte’s space will be top of the accommodation list!

Hosts were superb! We totally surprised them with a short notice booking but they sprang into action and made it work! The place was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Vijay & Ilsa were responsive to questions, and very helpful overall. My husband & I both had a very enjoyable & restful 3-night stay. It’s on a relatively quiet street, and the bedroom is at the back of the building, so there was no noise at all in the bedroom. The location was superb too, near pubs, restaurants, grocery store/corner shop, etc.

We had a nice stay at Armelle and Patrick's. Quiet and well-located apartment.

Very nice apartment, clear, with views of the harbor and the beach. Amenities are as described. We really enjoyed having one private bathroom per room. The offer of nearby restaurants within walking distance is correct given the size of the municipality. Check-in and check-out were flexible - we enjoyed this service. Laure's welcome was warm. We had a lovely stay.
