Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Denis-d'Oléron

The place is perfect for a couple, we stayed on the island of Oleron for a week off-season, and this little oceanfront house was perfect for relaxing .

The studio is really great, there is everything you need to have a great stay. It is close to St Denis and La Brée les Bains with markets, restaurants and of course the beach! The accommodation is very clean, you feel very good there. The small visits of the owner's cats were also very pleasant!

We came to spend Mother's Day with our children in this beautiful home. We were very kindly welcomed by the person who opened the house to us. Pleasant not to go through a lockbox. We were able to appreciate its great comfort and refined decoration. The bedding is excellent, the kitchen equipment is amazing to prepare good dishes. The flowery exterior, perfectly maintained with its different living rooms is a plus. The heated pool delighted us. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a great holiday: from check-in to departure. Especially great for us were the bikes, so we could explore the area & make excursions. The house is well equipped in a quiet location (from time to time you have the nearby campsite but not really disturbing). Thank you & we can imagine coming back again! Best regards, Christian

Unforgettable stay! Recent villa. As soon as you walk through the door, you feel very good. Tastefully decorated villa. Outside with petanque court, small covered lounge. Ping pong table... Everything invites you to relax. The host Julia is very accommodating to personalize our stay. Isabelle the concierge introduced us to the villa with kindness and provided good advice for discovering the island. Thanks to Julia, Isabelle and the owners for this perfect villa. the living room is larger than in the photos. Accommodation not far from the Chassiron lighthouse and the beach. Too bad there's no barbecue, even though we understand the reasons.

The advantage of renting no car we walk shops nearby, market every morning fresh and local products. We had a very pleasant stay in the charming studio ideally located! Close to the beach, shops and the market square. Although very close to the heart of the village, the accommodation is extremely quiet! Cécile and Eric's welcome was perfect. They care about your well-being throughout the entire stay. A very nice apartment overlooking the harbour entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city centre of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

A gem , close to the port , shabby chic interior with gorgeous touches . Patricia was a most helpful host and made our arrival very special . Small but perfectly formed studio with everything one needs . Highly recommended

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding of great comfort. Ideally located, the residence is very pleasant, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I highly recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Very quiet for the studio. For those who love walking, I've been spoiled. Xavier is responsive and helped me a lot. Good restaurants.

Maryse is a very nice and available host and she is also very accommodating for the arrival and departure when it is possible! The apartment is ideally located, we rented for our 3-day weekend and we did everything on foot! The parking space is a big plus, we highly recommend Maryse and her property! You can go there without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed! Very eager to return to La Rochelle in this very beautiful property, tastefully decorated and so well located in La Rochelle!
