Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

This country guest home is a great setting to relax, and rest after a full day of sightseeing and traveling. Valerie received us and explained well the home set up and answered any questions. The Jacuzzi was a big plus and we had relaxing meals in the back patio and used the grill while accompanied by the curious lambs and chickens roaming free but separate from our space, adding to the wonderful feeling of connecting with your surroundings, we didn’t access the river but you have the option to kayak if thats your thing. highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights in Bertrand's home. The place matches the description in every way and the view is even more beautiful than you can imagine. In total calm, impeccably clean and with the cherry Nordic bath on the cake we can only recommend it. In addition, Bertrand was very accessible. We clearly keep the address to redo if the opportunity arises.

Wonderfully beautiful house, very clean and very cozy. For us, the 2 nd time we were there. Very nice, wonderful to relax. Delicious outdoor space where you can eat and enjoy the jacuzzi. Very friendly owners. We will definitely go back. Enjoy.

Stéphanie's place is as described. It is in a very good location, in a very quiet environment. It is very clean and very well-equipped. Ideal for a week of rest in the heart of nature. The spa on the terrace is a plus for relaxing after a day of walking. Stéphanie is welcoming, very friendly, caring and very available. She responds quickly to any questions. We recommend their place without a second thought.

Peaceful location, super comfy bed and the accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos. Ideal for exploring the region with a car and would recommend.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

We had a wonderful time at Tom's! The house is lovingly furnished, super clean and totally cozy – especially the two fireplaces make it really cozy on cool days. The location is fantastically quiet with great views, which we enjoyed every day from the terrace. It was particularly nice that we could watch the animals from the terrace – cows, sheep, cats and many birds. Communication with Tom was great, uncomplicated and very friendly. Ideal for relaxing and hiking. We will be happy to come back!

Amazing setting, unparalleled calm, with stunning views of Mont Valier. The accommodation has been renovated with a lot of charm, very functional and very well equipped. Sandrine was responsive to all our questions during the stay. We'll be happy to go back!

An enchanted break at the cabin by the pond! We had a great time close to nature. A warm welcome from Sara, with excellent sourdough bread. Access is simple and quick to this cocoon of greenery. The cabin is soft and full of charm. We were able to enjoy it under the sun, but also snuggling in it during a stormy evening, it was great and so cozy, the cabin is very well insulated; but if needed, the stove was already ready to heat this cozy place (we didn't need it.). We felt at home there. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy this peaceful retreat, observe nature and adopt a peaceful way of life. We strongly recommend this place and its charming hostess. Thanks for creating this place.

Excellent welcome, excellent stay, accommodation in line with what we expected but given the location of the toilets on the ground floor, the rooms being upstairs with a straight staircase, given our ages of around 80 years, comfort would have been great. But that doesn't take away from the comfort of this cottage for young people. The village has everything you need to make all the purchases you need to live well.

Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Maël's place. It is the perfect place to switch off and relax. We travelled with our two small children who enjoyed the pool and games rooms. Maël has thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay for a family and was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay all our party love the chateau

Our stay at La Maine was wonderful. Catherine and Maxence are excellent hosts, extremely welcoming and warm, but also very respectful of privacy. The cottage is impeccably decorated and comfortable -- we cooked a couple of meals after shopping at the farmer's market, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. Cubjac is small, but inviting -- be sure to go to the bakery, to the farmer's market, and to the Tabac for aa coffee. Catherine and Maxence had great recommendations for restaurants and outings -- every one of their suggestions was 100%. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! Thank you to our new friends in Cubjac -- and Lila and Iris, of course.

Listing as described. Aline is a very responsive and accommodating host. The listing is located in a beautiful environment and the different things available are a big plus ,if the weather allows you to enjoy it.

Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

Beautiful location in the middle of the vast vineyards. Beautiful large swimming pool and all privacy, wonderfully quiet. Very friendly hosts Badger and Mandie! Given the location, you do need a car to visit all the attractions in the area. Fresh baguette provided every morning by Badger. The house was sparkling clean, well equipped and you received a welcome package of food for the first day, and cognac! Highly recommended this house partly thanks to the swimming pool and the very friendly hosts.

We had a truly fabulous stay. The house had everything we needed and we were fortunate enough that the neighbouring Airbnb was empty so we had the pool and pool house to ourselves. We loved the pizza oven, the BBQ was of very high quality. We found everything we needed to stay in and cook dinner each night. The village is perfect for a top-up shop with a great boulangerie for breakfast. We found Lourdes had an excellent hypermarket. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would love to stay again.
