Private outdoor seating area with furniture and barbeque. Possibility to rent a wood-fired sauna at an extra cost. The cottage is 40 sqm + the loft. Not so big but nice! Little cottage among the mountain stables

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. In the reed beds, you can catch perch, roach, common rudd and northern pike. With a plastic boat, you can go out on Lake Vänern, and if you have a kayak with you, it's easy to put in. The plastic canoe is good for rowing, but it also has a motor. You need to bring your own clean petrol. You can swim from pine-covered cliffs in the bay or out on the skerries and islands. Värmlandsnäs is located in the middle of Sweden's largest freshwater lake, Vänern, and has a rich wildlife, including birds, deer and wild boar.

Large plot with apple, plum and berry bushes. Rabbits outside the cottage. Close to buses that take you to Karlstad in about 20 minutes and by car about 10. Best cancellation policy!

You will also find Hammarö Archipelago Museum on the outskirts of the headland, which offers a unique collection of objects from the old Vänern fishing and an exhibition about life on the lighthouses in Lake Vänern.

A smaller marina is available with a launching ramp for guests with their own boat. Bed linens and towels are not included, available for rent for SEK 150 per person. We have a little cottage in our garden, situated near the centre of the town Säffle. There are two beds, a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, two stove plates and microwave if you want to cook on your own, and newly rebuilt bathroom with shower. See pictures. The surroundings are nice, close to shopping and strolling along the river Byälven. You find lake Vänern in 6km distance, where you summertime can take a bath.

This setup gives you privacy and a peaceful connection to nature, with the comfort of knowing we are nearby if you need anything.
