During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquillity of the rural countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. A convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater to group travel, family travel, and multi-night to long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also get here by public transport, but it's more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be a taxi at the station, so we recommend planning your transport in advance. There is also a large TV and card games in the building, so children can have fun too. And, on weekdays, please stay for two nights. On the first day, you can relax after the fatigue of travelling, and on the second day, you can enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. It is a special treat for a family to enjoy on a weekday. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
