Ons huisje staat in één van de mooiste Waterlandse dorpen, Broek in Waterland. Het bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving, op 8 km van Amsterdam. Op 3 minuten lopen afstand vind je de bushalte, waardoor je binnen 12 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal staat. Het gastenverblijf zelf biedt alles wat je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt. In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Our beautifully situated guest house "Sparrowhouse" is located near the picturesque village of Watergang. The stay is 5 km above Amsterdam, in the middle of the meadows and on Broekervaart. The Sparrowhouse offers a lot of privacy. You have your own bathroom and kitchen. A private garden is at your disposal overlooking the meadows, Broekervaart and from the skyline you can see Amsterdam. 2 bikes are at your disposal for free. Bus stop to Amsterdam Central Station is a 6-minute walk away

The house has two floors, downstairs the living room with a modern kitchen with terrace and an upstairs with the bedroom with a freestanding bath. The spectacular view of the water immidiatly transforms the mind after a visit in Amsterdam. From this quiet area it is only 10 minutes by public transport to the Central Station in Amsterdam.

Dit heerlijke huisje is de ideale plek om op te laden en te genieten van de rust in een prachtige omgeving. Temidden van de Waterlandse natuur maak je een van de mooie fietstochten, of stap je vanaf het terras in een kano voor een tochtje door het natuurgebied Varkensland. Het huisje is brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, met goed uitgeruste keuken, eigen terras en parkeerplek. Wakker worden door het geluid van de vogeltjes, zo vier je ontspannen vakantie in eigen land.

Our guesthouse 'Achterom' is located in the beautiful, quiet Watergang. You reach the center of Amsterdam in 12 minutes by bus or car. Nice outdoors combined with everything the city has to offer.

On the edge of the nature reserve "Varkensland", less than 15 minutes from Amsterdam, you will find our completely renovated guest house. A sunny two-story house overlooking the garden and the water. From this oasis of peace and quiet, you can discover this beautiful region, with historic towns such as Monnickendam and Marken. Amsterdam is also literally around the corner. The bus ride to Amsterdam takes 10 minutes. The bus leaves every 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop.

Na een inspirerende dag in Amsterdam, is het heerlijk 'thuis' komen in dit originele appartement, dat gebouwd is in een oude hooiberg in het dorpje Watergang. Waar alles aanwezig is voor een ontspannen verblijf voor 2-4 personen. Zeer geschikt voor een fijne vakantie of lang verblijf. Gratis fietsen voor elke gast en gratis kano's en een kajak beschikbaar. Ook is het mogelijk om een motorboot te huren of om zelf met de gratis kano het beschermd natuurgebied in te varen.

Are you tired of the city? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would like to welcome you to my unique location in the middle of the countryside of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. The ferry is, by the way, private property, and is only used by my guests.

In the beautiful Watergang, near Amsterdam and in the middle of the beautiful Waterland in North Holland. With the express bus within 500 m walking distance, you can reach Amsterdam Noord metro station in 5 minutes. Or walk along the boot path through the meadows to Broek in Waterland for an old-fashioned pancake.
