  • We had the most wonderful stay at Above The Stables. Melinda and Jonny were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Although the weather wasn't brilliant for the duration of our stay there was lots to entertain us inside. A huge projector screen with a wide selection of dvds and bookshelves full of an eclectic collection of books and games kept us entertained. The cottage had a beautifully cosy atmosphere thanks to all the small touches which gave the place a relaxed and homely feel. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Melinda!

  • A lovely, bright and comfortable Airbnb. A huge living space with a great home cinema and everything you need for making meals. Very comfortable cool temperature in the Airbnb even in the full summer heat (was over 30 degrees Celsius during our stay) Surrounded by beautiful countryside and quaint villages, best accessed with a car. Very hospitable hosts

  • Above the Stables is in an idyllic spot and the views are gorgeous. Inside was spotless, spacious and welcoming with lots of comfy sofas and decorated throughout with style and charm. There are rows of books and DVD's, a fantastic large screen with projector + TV. Melinda was lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming. She was so generous with the provisions she left - Bread, butter, her own fresh eggs, milk, juice, yoghurt, jam, biscuits, chocolate etc. etc. and a beautifully laid breakfast table. Upton Noble is perfectly positioned for Bruton, Frome and Bath and for exploring the rest of this part of Somerset's beautiful villages and rolling hills. Thank you so much to Melinda for a great stay. Highly recommend.

    Catherine2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Melinda's place exceeded our expectations in accomodation space, furniture and special touches. Fresh farm eggs and bread and extras to nibble on in a lovely country area was one of the highlights of our stays through England and Wales. Melinda welcomed us and was always on hand with tips and suggestions on places to visit and see in a beautiful country side. I could not recommend Melinda's place highly enough - great hosts, great accomodation and a beautiful location.

    Geoff2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. Melinda had thought of all the little touches that make you feel very welcome. Great space and the location was perfect for our visit to Somerset. We will definately stay again if visiting the area.

    Sarah2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful property and location, a pleasurable experience and such a simple process from booking to arrival and during the stay. The touches in terms of provisions were the best I've had via an Airbnb booking. Highly recommend a visit.

    Simon2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Melinda's place. From the moment we requested to book until the moment we left, Melinda was a responsive, thoughtful and great host. The place is bigger and better than it looks in the photos, and the location is an excellent base for exploring the local area (our weekend took in Longleat, Hauser and Wirth at Bruton and Stourhead (National Trust) and we were just scratching the surface of what the area has to offer. There are no shops or pubs in the village so it's really great that Melinda offers extras such as the basics (and more) you need when you arrive (e.g. milk, cereal, tea, coffee, butter, bread) and extras like eggs from the hens and some chocolate buttons in the fridge went down a treat. There are pubs and shops a short drive away. The property is easy to find and parking is secure and accessible. The bed is very comfy and you get a lovely peaceful night's sleep. We really enjoyed the living area and the home cinema system - bring your favourite DVDs! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely like to return in the future.

You will have a single comfy room in a quiet house and neighbourhood. There is a bathroom with a shower. In the morning a simple breakfast of bread, butter and jam is provided. Off street parking is available and plenty of on-street parking close by. We are well-situated in a quiet road, only ten minutes’ walk from the centre of this thriving Somerset town. This modern house is a stone’s throw from the cobbled streets, independent shops and a brilliant selection of cafes and restaurants.
The bed is a single with the basics for a comfy stay. The shared bathroom is newly renovated and has a shower cubicle. I have been a little over zealous with a cleaning agent and there are now bleach marks on the walls of the shower. There are steps up to the house and the bedroom is up a flight of stairs. The kitchen can be used by agreement.
Frome is a vibrant town. It dates back to the middle ages and mixes old and new in a truly unique way. You will find independent shops scattered among brilliant restaurants and cafes. On the first Sunday of every month, from March to November, you will find the centre of town transformed into a market place. Independent traders from all over Somerset visit and set up their stalls and you will be fascinated by what is on offer. The food is pretty good at these events too! The house is in a quiet neighbourhood but with easy access to the centre of town and public transport links. When you stay with us you will realise how close you are to the places you’ve always wanted to visit. Glastonbury is just up the road. You can walk up to the Tor in the morning and then shop in the designer outlet ‘Clark’s Village’ in Street in the afternoon. Or why not visit Bath? You will discover Roman Britain and Jane Austin within a short walk of each other with shops and restaurants in between. If you fancy a day in the open air you can choose between Longleat and Stour Head. And only an hour away you can find one of the most world-famous landmarks of all – Stonehenge.
  • Elisabeth's place is lovely, sparkling clean and great location.

    Scott2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Elizabeth’s. It was exactly as expected and looked just like the photos. The communication from the host was excellent - I had no issues with checking in or worries about anything. The pretty estate that the house is on is very quiet; perfect walking distance from the stunning town centre of Frome. My car was safe on the drive. There is a supermarket right across the road; it has everything that you need. The house is cosy and I was allowed to use the kitchen - great to prepare your meals if you have agreed before. Breakfast was a nice touch - toast with butter and jam with hot beverage. My room had a very comfortable bed with delicious biscuits/tea & coffee/kettle. Plenty of space to hang a few clothes for a few days. Desk and chair. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable with a good signal in my bedroom. I slept soundly here. I loved the powerful shower and decent bathroom. The place was sparkling clean and I would definitely recommend staying here. Elizabeth is an interesting, intelligent lady a we had a good chat. I will stay there again. It’s a superb base to see lots of interesting places. Excellent value for money. Thank you.

  • Lovely room and although the house is small, the room is a great size and Jonathan is a great host, even in these difficult times. The location is beautiful but mooning signal there is poor so if you're sat nav doesn't take you right there (mine didn't) you'll most likely need to drive back up the hill to get a signal. WiFi was good, decent speed. House immaculate. Highly recommended. Great value.

  • Johnathan is a really nice host. The bed was really comfortable and the room was cute and tidy. The best way to contact him is to call him on the phone provided and he will call you back.

  • Jonathan's place is clean, friendly and straightforward. Jonathan was very kind and helpful with suggestions because my car electrics were doing strange things. He even went out in the dark to get a spare bulb from his shed me for me to try! The shower was a bit tricky to get right with the balance of hot/cold but Jonathan sorted it out and it was fine.

    Ruth2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Felt homely. Perfect place if you just want a room for a couple nights. Surrounding area is beautiful and there is a big lake near by for swimming and diving! Jonathan is also a lovely host!

This listing is for our smaller bedroom which sleeps two people. It is a recently renovated space with new ensuite shower room. This room has its own front door and is adjacent to our historic family home, in the beautiful village of Croscombe between Wells and Shepton Mallet. This room shares our conservatory as a sitting area. Please see the layout plan in the photos.
Our home is a 15C farmhouse in the village of Croscombe. We have cats, bees, sheep, chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks and sell our produce locally. Guests are welcome to buy our seasonal produce including cider, jams, marmalade, chutneys, cordials, beeswax polish, wool and free-range eggs.
We're in a quiet English village with a beautiful church, pub and village shop. Nearby are the destination towns of Wells, Frome, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet. The village of Croscombe is worth a visit in its own right; nestled in the Sheppey Valley it was founded in around 700AD it has a historic church with carved box pews and spectacular spire, several old mill buildings and walks with spectacular views over the village. We have a leaflet of a suggested walk around the village which takes in the majority of the notable buildings and are happy to advise those who would like to go for longer walks on good routes to take.
  • Nicola’s place is very good - great amenities for a stay in Somerset. Local pub serves breakfast as well as other meals. This time I had to cancel my stay, due to my meeting being cancelled but I will go back to Nicola’s place in the future.

  • This is a nice little room and a cracking good shower room, in a quiet location/pretty village on the outskirts of a market town. Good basic facilities.

    Jennifer2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, private room in a tucked away corner of the village. The electric blanket was a nice surprise! Very nice, modern shower room, good tea making facilities and walking distance from a pub that serves breakfast from 7.30am.

Having enjoyed letting out my double en-suite, I’m now opening up a single room at a lower rate. It has fewer amenities but I hope might be suitable for people coming for work purposes or single travellers who don’t need much space. Although I call it a single, it actually has a double bed, so very comfortable for one person. You will need to share my bathroom, but it is right next door and has a full bath with shower over - and only shared with me!
Although the room is small, it has a double bed, and there are shelves, a bedside table, a small desk/table and chair. There is a kettle and items for making drinks, and I provide some snack breakfast items to start off your morning.
Frome is a wonderful little market town, full of amazing independent shops and cafés - "best place to live in the south west" according to the Sunday Times. It is just a 10 minute walk to the centre down the attractive cobbled Catherine Hill - recently voted 14th prettiest street in Britain. On the first Sunday of every month (Mar - Dec) the whole town centre is taken over by the Independent Market full of quirky artisan and vintage stalls, delicious local foods and live music. There are also plenty of places to visit nearby. Longleat is just a 15 minute drive and it is only half an hour to Georgian Bath, Wells with its glorious Cathedral Close and Glastonbury's famous Abbey and Tor. World famous Stonehenge is only a 45 minute drive.
  • Great accommodation, room was very clean, spacious and cosy.

  • Jane's place is a fabulous find. I stayed in the single room, which is really comfy with a roomy double bed and lovely thoughtful touches, including kettle, coffee, tea and breakfast snacks. The WiFi was fast and reliable and there is even a little desk if you want to do some work. Jane was friendly and welcoming and was super-responsive: booking me in at very short notice! Everything was clean and Jane has taken real care with decorating the rooms with fun travel-themed accessories! The room was also great value and in a good location - just a short stroll into the old part of town and 25 min walk from the train station. Would highly recommend!

    Polly2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • My first time using AirBnb and my experience was amazing. Great room, great service and great communication, Jane was amazing in accommodating my request. The single room is quite spacious for a single and the double bed is so comfy. Would definitely use again when in Frome.

We live in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac just outside the town of Bruton, Somerset. Our pad (as we call it) is clean, light and airy with all the comforts of your own home. We have a very friendly well behaved dog who will also make you very welcome and two sleepy cats as they are showing their age. All guests will be made very welcome and accommodated to their needs. We have knowledge of the surrounding area for walking and touring the area - lots of lovely places within a short car journey.
‘Our pad’ is accessible to able people as the living accommodation is upstairs but once there you have full use of the facilities on offer to make you feel home from home.
The queen has recently visited our town, which you will find very quaint. There are two pubs in walking distant and we also have The Chapel which serves everything from coffee, pizza’s, bakery and lunch. We also have the Roth and bar grill and Matts kitchen which are both lovely places to eat using local quality produce. The town also has an array of art galleries, one on the high street and one just outside of town.

This is an elegant and cosy double room in my family home in the heart of Bruton. With the High Street just a minutes walk away it is perfectly located to enjoy the local restaurants, pubs, and boutiques that Bruton has to offer. Hauser & Wirth art gallery is a 10 minute walk away and it is a short drive to Stourhead house and gardens, Sparkford Hall, Bath & West Showground and Glastonbury. The room is perfect for single guests or couples.
My house is a modest Victorian town house which I have lovingly renovated over the last few years. It has a traditional feel with a contemporary twist and is a light and calming space to be in. The room is situated at the back of the house on the first floor, overlooking the garden. There is a standard double bed, with cotton bed linen and goose feather duvet and pillows. There is a small wardrobe, a chair, a mirror, shelves and a bedside table with drawers. The shared bathroom is on the same floor and is modern and compact with a rain shower and bath.
  • This was the second time I stayed at Julia’s home and I would definitely recommend staying here. A lovely room in a friendly home, it is great for exploring Bruton and the surrounding area!

    Chris2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous host. Julia was there to greet me, the room was cosy and spotless, the bed super-comfy and the room totally silent at night. She even offered tea and coffee and cereal for breakfast. A great AirBnB host. Thank you.

    Gillian2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a lovely stay. Julia's place is great, as Bruton is so compact and accessible - just a short walk to everything. The room was lovely and Julia is welcoming.

  • Really enjoyed my stay.

    Dee2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Julia's place was just perfect, very easy going and hospitable and so well priced for the location. Just a stumble to the town and perhaps 10 min to Hauser and Wirth. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Julia’s great... Easy-going, open and ever-helpful (Julia was so ill when I stayed and yet couldn’t do enough...that’s a class host). Bruton is gloriously quaint and Julia’s sweet little pad is about 1 minute away. Super value for money...it ain’t king size but I’m 6’3 and snuck into an extremely comfortable bed.

    Paul2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Julia’s for a week while starting a new job in Bruton. As soon as I arrived Julia and her daughter were so welcoming and made me feel really at home. The room was light, clean and the bed was so comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

  • The house was in a great location and the room was clean, tidy and cosy. Julia was a great host, and made me feel welcome, she also posted me some items I had left in the room afterwards which was much appreciated! Would recommend. Thanks, Tim

  • What a beautiful location. The grounds are stunning. Horses and chickens right outside the front door. Inside the house was beautiful, downstairs bathroom was lush. With a very comfy a bed. Upstairs was very nice, fully functional kitchen with everything you could need. We were very impressed with how clean the house was. Loved it. We will definitely be returning. (as well as the bag of malteasers) Deb was a great host and gave us details about places to eat in the local area. Accommodation was clean and cosy, exactly like pictures! We would definitely book again if visiting the area in the future - thankyou :)

Large, characterful and private top floor bedroom with ensuite in a relaxed and easy home. I am a friendly host who enjoys travel near and far. I am happy for well behaved pets to stay (I have a cat that is used to visitors) and delighted to accommodate little ones . Edge of countryside location great for country walks or a 10 min stroll down Catherine hill and it's independent shops into Frome centre. A local shop is 5 minute walk and play park opposite. Check in from 4pm but I am flexible.
The space is located at the top of a characterful Victorian terrace with lovely views of the edge of Frome and bordering countryside. It is a large room with a double bed for two adults but can easily accommodate a family of four - a blow up double mattress is available also. The ensuite is bijou but all yours with a shower, basin and toilet. There is a kettle station which houses a selection of teas and coffee as well as a small fridge for food and drink. I provide yoghurt, milk, cereal, muesli and fruit as a continental breakfast in the room . TV and WiFi also.
Frome is quite hilly. Walk is 10-15 minutes to center of town.
  • A perfect hidden gem just a short stroll from the centre of Frome. Lucy was very welcoming and the room was really spacious and attractive.

  • Lucy's large attic room is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful & private. Was great having my own bathroom, fridge, kettle & facilities for making breakfast & snacks. Lucy provided a lovely selection of teas, cereals etc which made me feel very welcomed. I was very busy during my stay in Frome, so never got to meet Lucy in person, but everything was very well organised. I would definitely recommend her as a great host

A fridge and everything I needed for breakfast was also provided in the room which was great. Lucy was a lovely host and kindly let me cook in her kitchen a few times. Great location, very close to local amenities and the centre of Frome. Thanks Lucy!

  • Lucy's place is lovely and just as described. The loft studio is private, warm, comfortable and spacious. I had everything I needed for a very comfortable week. The ability to grab a light breakfast in the studio was really appreciated as were the little touches that make life so much easier - fresh milk, good quality fresh coffee, bowl of fruit and local guide books. Lucy and her young son are perfect hosts - helpful, discreet, and always there to answer any queries. I enjoyed staying at Lucy's place, would thoroughly recommended it to others and I look forward to a return visit. Thank you!

Our lovely terraced home is an ideal place to stay for families wanting a break in the beautiful town of Bruton. Downstairs we have a hallway and toilet, leading to a spacious and light, open plan living and dining room with a sofa-bed and dining table. There is also a newly fitted kitchen with all the facilities you will need. On the first floor are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The upper floor has a master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom.
You will need to park by our garage and walk up some steps to the house, so please be aware of this if you have mobility problems.
Bruton is in the foothills of the Brue Valley, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Renowned for its restaurants and artistic community and steeped in history, the town has retained a charming character over centuries of changes. A range of facilities such as larger shops and banks can be found at the surrounding towns of Wincanton, Castle Cary and Frome or an hours drive to Bath and Bristol.

The house is situated in the heart of the picture postcard pretty village of Nunney. It is a stones throw from the French style medieval Nunney Castle, and looks out over Nunney Brook and is just a short stroll from the pub and historical church. Nunney Pottery is an elegant Georgian house that was once the village butchers. The rooms retain their Georgian features and are furnished with finds from travels to Africa and India. While staying here you could also book a pottery or glass lesson!
The village of Nunney is perfect to spend a relaxing time, also a short drive away is Frome with its independent shopping and cobbled streets, and Bruton with the famed Hauser and Wirth art gallery. The house itself is full of Georgian features including original fireplaces and a Chinese Chippendale staircase. What makes this place special though is that the downstairs is now a working pottery, so if you want to can watch pottery being made or even have a go at making your own pottery pieces.
Nunney is a very special little place, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly community. Apart from the fascinating castle and church there are lots of interesting and beautiful walks to be had from the house. It is also perfect for visiting Bath and Longleat House.
  • A warm welcome from Kim and a very comfortable room - nicely decorated and our own spacious and well equipped bathroom. Great place

  • Kim is a lovely host and makes you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Kim's wealth of local knowledge helped us have an amazing stay. A lovely room in a beautiful village.

  • We loved our stay at Kim’s home! Beautifully decorated, spacious, bright and clean room - it was so peaceful and relaxing.. just what the doctor ordered ;) thank you for being a lovely and understanding host (we arrived very late!!) and providing all the little bits we could possibly need over the weekend (including my favourite tea :)!).

    Sherin2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kim's place. Ideal location for our visit to family in the Somerset area. Nunney is a real gem of a village - bursting with character and history, yet close to shops and amenities of Frome & Bruton. Parking is available nearby on the street. Kim is so lovely and efficient, made sure the next door Pub served us when we arrived later than planned and next morning provided a fabulous nutritious continental breakfast served in her very own beautiful ceramic crockery! The bedroom is as per the photo - lovely Georgian features, spacious and pristine, together with stylish bathroom with both a bath and separate slate-tiled shower. Great accommodation - highly recommended.

  • Great place to stay, very clean and a very friendly cat.

    Colin2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic B and B! We had a wonderful time at Kim's. Not only was she a brilliant host, with a unique home full of interesting features, she took time to get to know us and was so friendly and generous with her advice. We hope to go back and try out the pottery classes later this summer. The village itself was also very pretty, and well worth a visit.

    Catherine M2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable, stylish room in lovely house in a pretty village. It was fun being above a pottery. Kim was a charming, helpful, very understanding host.

    Tim2019-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't recommend staying at Kim's enough. The location is fantastic with a nice pub and castle ruins literally a few steps away. The house oozes character being a working pottery, and Kim was a wonderful and thoughtful host (even let us have a go on the pottery wheel!). Room spotless and cosy. Great location for nipping into Frome.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Bridget's. She was greeted us on arrival and had left us some breakfast foods and other essentials, which was very nice. A good location for exploring Somerset, we went to Cheddar Gorge, Wells, and Bath. We hadn't realised how close to the road it was, but it wasn't too noisy. Lovely view of a sheep field from the living room area

  • We spend 2 nights in this beautiful cottage and it was just perfect. Other than it being a bit wet outside we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We arrived late Friday night and we were straight in and settled in no time. We were welcomed by a very clean warm, homely space which was very well stocked with the essentials including, butter, milk, breakfast cereals, orange juice, bathroom items etc. Communication wit Bridget was very good and Bridget was always happy to answer any questions that I had before arrival. Our stay was just lovely thank you so much. 100% recommended

The surroundings are beautiful and was definitely worth the visit. Bridget is a wonderful host, she makes sure you are comfortable and that you have everything you need! She also replies to any messages within minutes. Bridget even found my daughters lost Rubble soft toy and arranged to post it back to us 😊 Was a truly wonderful stay, we couldn’t have asked for more.

  • Judy’s place was the perfect base for us to explore the winding backroads of Somerset. Easy check in. A lovely clean and well furnished bedroom & shower room. Peace and quiet in abundance. Loved it.

  • Amazing little space and a 5minute drive into town. Enjoyed the Bull Inn (2minute walk). Quiet, quaint and quality for money. Thanks Judy.

This two bedroom period house has been recently refurbished. It has en suite toilets to both bedrooms and a downstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower. There are two living rooms and a large fitted kitchen. There is no garden but a small outside sitting area. The house is two minutes walk of our local pub which provides good value food and drink. Castle Cary's attractive town centre with its many historic buildings is an eight minute walk. Street parking with no restrictions .
    Sorry no pets or smokers.
South Street is a conservation area with many historic buildings. There are several local walks from the area. Castle Cary has a good range of local shops including a small but useful Co op which is open until 10 pm . Castle Cary is an ideal base for visiting Glastonbury, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery with Bath, Bristol, Stonehenge, Longleat and Avebury being within an hour's drive.

Ideal studio for a single, a couple or a parent and child over 5 years. Cosy, quiet, with access to garden, 10 minutes walk to the fantastic town of Frome! Bed-sitting area plus ensuite bathroom, the studio has its own entrance. A beautiful walk through the protected Rodden Meadows brings you into the town centre, full of independent shops and renowned performance venue The Cheese and Grain. And be sure to book when the popular Frome Independent Market is on - the first Sunday of the month.
Coronavirus safety: I am deep cleaning all surfaces after guests leave. I am minimising crockery / cutlery / utensils and using dishwasher between bookings. I am removing my usual provision of teas and coffee. I ask guests to please wash hands after being out, and obviously do not come if you have any virus symptoms. A bed sitting space with a small kitchen area comprising kettle, toaster, and microwave. Enough utensils to prepare basic food plus a small fridge. Ideal for breakfast and a few light meals. Selection of teas and some coffee provided (not while coronavirus an issue). The bed is a queen sized double with a very comfortable mattress. TV receives Freeview and there is a DVD player with selection of DVDs, plus a selection of books. Guests are welcome to use the garden which has a sitting area. The shower is new and large - enough space for two! The studio is heated with far infra-red panels - a new technology that is extremely energy efficient as well as being healthy for the body. It is particularly good for allergy sufferers as it does not cause the air to circulate (therefore circulating dust). One of the panels is disguised as a painting of buddha - radiating warmth into body and soul! Bilbo the cat lives in the main house and if you like cats you may enjoy a few moments of cat love with him.
The studio is behind my house on a quiet residential street of semi-detached 1930s homes. PLEASE NOTE previous info (in THE SPACE section) about building taking place next door from March 2020 for four months. Frome is extremely popular for its Independent Markets which happen on the first Sunday of every month (except January and February). The town is closed to traffic and taken over by a huge range of amazing independent makers and producers including a delicious selection of local food and live music. There is also a second hand market in the Cheese and Grain carpark. There is so much to see and eat, it has become a popular destination from far and wide. You can walk from the Studio along the river and arrive right in the centre of things. As well as the market Frome is also known for its support of independent shops which makes the town a great place to find unique and quality products.
  • Hilary is a lovely host and made a real effort to make everything easy. I am considered an essential worker in these troubled times but I work shifts so Hilary really helped me out with a flexible check in and great efforts not to disturb me during my stay. Please be aware that there is building work going on next door which is noisy in the day but the hours they work were fair and they did try their best. Location is excellent for both the train and town centre work loads of shops nearby (ok irrelevant right now but for future reference). The room is a great size, the shower really nice. There's a microwave and toaster/kettle which is fine for what I needed. Bed is a good size and pretty comfy. For a room seperate to the house where you won't be disturbed in such a lovely place you cannot go wrong.

  • Very nice room in Frome, quite basic but has a comfortable bed, a good shower and everything else you need for a short stay. Lovely and clean, quiet location just a short walk from the town centre, and a very friendly host. The building site next door might be hindrance to long lie-ins when the weather improves, but work does not usually kick off until 8:30, so did not cause me any issues.

    Simon2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was clean, comfortable and quaint. Hilary was very kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. Although previous reviews said that the wifi was slow, we found it to be more than adequate as there was an extender in the room.

  • Perfect space and set up. Thoughtful touches and everything you need. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable.

  • Perfect. The studio is well located and perfect for a.stay in Frome. We took a train from London, but if you have a car to explore the area, there was lots of street parking. Frome is so lovely and friendly. Great walking and running. The studio is quiet with a comfy bed. We slept great.
