Gill's flat is excellent, everything you need, very clean and easy off street parking. Gill responded quickly during the booking process and was there to welcome me - she is lovely to speak to. There was fresh fruit, juice, milk, bread and butter, etc. Overall it's a very welcoming and relaxing flat, great after a long day at work. A great price too - recommended.

I stayed here for a few nights and found it perfect. Lovely comfortable space with everything you need and shops close by. The place was easy to find thanks to great directions and was warm and clean. Didn't get to meet Gill but anything I asked for was there. Great stay, well recommend to anyone.

Everything was perfect - Gill is an amazing host, from the cleanliness of the flat to asking if we preferred white or brown bread! There were 3 of us staying and Gill left 3 of each item - bananas, apples and even little chocolate bars. It was a great location for Bedford Park where we were attending a concert and I think if you were working locally and needed somewhere to stay this would be a much better choice over a hotel room!! This is one of the best places I have stayed with air bnb. The barn is well equipped and it's obvious to see much love and attention was taken when decorating it. It's set in beautiful surroundings, so calm and peaceful, with your own decking area and garden overlooking fields. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, with even an Easter basket full of goodies on arrival. Definitely worth a visit for some RnR.

Gorgeous little space with everything you need for a short stay. Karen had even laid out biscuits, prosecco, beer, tea, coffee, milk and more for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Spotlessly clean - a little chilly in the evening although the heater did a good job of warming it up. Stayed here for a wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns - an easy 10 min drive away. Definitely reccomend!

What a find! If you're looking for something simple, easy and within driving distance of Cambridge then this is the place for you! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it and will most certainly be coming back!

If anything, the photographs, beautiful though they are, don’t do complete justice to The Barn. A gorgeous location, surounded by fields and very comfortable. Plus a private garden and pation to watch the sunset!

Deanna's place was just as she described in her profile. They were friendly, the room and neighbourhood very quiet (at least when we stayed there). As we had a car, getting to Deanna was no problem, also, there was free parking just across the road which came in handy. Deanna was super accommodating with our check-in time, and also us returning from a day and night out at a festival very late. Same goes for getting up in the morning and leaving. We were given our time and space. Deanna and Gareth (and cat Loki) were very friendly hosts and we can recommend staying with them.

Highly recommended for a very comfy bed and spacious bedroom, in what is in effect your own private annex of Nigel's home. Just a short walk round the corner to various pubs, take always and a Tesco express and coop food. I gel was very welcoming, gave clear instructions. Bathroom is basic but fine. I stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending my university course in Huntingdon. I was incredibly impressed with the room advertised and amenities provided. Nigel, Fiona and Ollie were all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They did everything they possibly could to make my stay as enjoyable as possible, and that it was! I felt so comfortable staying here - as if it were my own home. The space is secluded from the house, the area is blissfully quiet and the bed was so comfortable. I slept very well! The house is very close to a small market square that has many places to eat. It was the perfect place to stay. I would 100% come back and I would strongly recommend to anybody looking to stay in Potton. 10/10, fantastic place to stay.

We had a lovely stay in the barn at Mika's! We booked very last minute but he was very accommodating - communication was very quick and responsive. The room was comfortable and in a quiet location - just what we needed after a long day working nearby. We opted for a veggie breakfast which was really delicious. Good value for a short stay!

We stayed here on the 26th August. The hosts were very polite and accommodating, easy to talk to and to get on with, they made you feel at ease. The actually room itself had everything you require and was such a lovely place to stay! It has  great character and history. There is parking at the back of the house which is available. It was a pleasure to stay at Zoe's beautiful house for one night. My girlfriend and I stayed the night before I had a job interview at the council. The location was perfect - a peaceful, spacious residential area which was a short walk into the centre Biggleswade. The room was excellent. A comfy bed, and plenty of space for bags. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when back in the area.

Zoe was the most welcoming host..she went out of her way to make me feel welcome and her home was perfectly located for my business meeting. The room was immaculate and had everything I needed..the bed was incredibly comfy and I had a brilliant nights sleep. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. I felt like it was my home for the month that I stayed. It has an excellent location for the town centre only 5 minutes walk and only 10 minutes from Bedford park. Marianna is a super host, helping me when needed like collecting me from the railway station and taking me to the apartment, yet allowing me complete privacy during my stay. Thoroughly recommended! The flat has a really good size and really nice decor. It was really clean. The parking space is really useful and the area is really nice. For those who know Bedford will know that being very close to the Embankment is a really good treat!

The Dairy at Ickwell Bury was by far the best part of our vacation to England this summer. After the hustle and bustle of London, it was fantastic to get away and wind down at Ickwell. The Dairy is a perfect home-away-from-home for a few days or a whole week, and I cannot say enough good things about our hosts, Simon and Christina. They made is feel instantly welcome and a part of their family. They were always there when we needed them, but always were careful to give us our space. They struck the perfect balance. If you are able to stay with them, don't miss a trip down the road to Mr. Franklin's butcher shop. Fresh meat all sourced locally. Best we have had, and so much better than you can ever get in a grocery store. And if you are very fortunate, you may even catch a Cricket match just off the village green a few steps from the home. Thanks again to Simon and Christina!

The Old Dairy is exactly as pictured and as described. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. It is a lovely place to stay and the little touches make it extra special. I would recommend a stay here unreservedly.

The cottage is very clean and beautifully decorated. It included everything we needed and more. We arrived by train and were very kindly given lifts to and from Biggleswade station which was an unexpected bonus after booking. Christina and Simon were very friendly but left us to our own devices. They were just a text or a knock on the door away if we needed anything. The area had some lovely scenic walks (and the heated clothes rack came in very handy when we got caught in a rainstorm!) Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. The Old dairy is set back from the roads, between fields so it's very peaceful and tranquil. We went on some lovely walks with our dog. The old dairy itself is spacious, airy and felt like a 'home away from home', was the perfect country break.

Alexa's home is in one of the best location in Bedford. Its walkable from public transit and very close to the Embarkment which is the best place to visit in Bedford. She is an excellent host. When i arrived i was given a very warm welcome. She was very prompt in communication and responded very fast. I had an excellent experience.

The stay in the Alexa´s place was exactly as I expected and how is written in description. Alexa is nice and polite person, always interested if you need something or if she can help somehow. I enjoyed fresh fruits, milk and some other food supply to booster my morning. The TV and Wi-Fi running without any problem. The street under the windows is quiet and have a space for parking if you have rented car as I had. Shared bathroom is big and clean. The town centre is 15 minutes’ walk, park and river even close. Very clean and comfortable bed close to the park for those who love walks,quiet street and very friendly neighbors

I was attracted to book Alexa's room for the reasonable price and good location (not far from the town and by the river). When I got in touch with Alexa, I liked her prompt response and good communication. I was clear what I would get and how I would share the facilities with her. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was clean and comfortable. I felt like sleeping in my own bed. The house is located in a typical middle class residential area, quite, tidy, and family-friendly. You can easily access to laundry, restaurants, and shops nearby. I visited a vintage book shop and bought two quality books about China in the Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed the stay. Highly likely pay a revisit in the future.

Alexa's place was in a quiet residential location but within 20 minute walking distance to the centre of Bedford. My stay was extremely comfortable with a nice cosy room, comfortable bed and nice breakfast. Snacks teas and coffees were also provided alongside my milk preference. I was late checking in however Alexa accommodated this and on my arrival she made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome into her home and I even got to meet her lovely and very friendly cat 'Starvin Marvin!' The price for the room was very fair and I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Bedford!

Within walking distance of a beautiful green leafy park, and shops, take-aways, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs all very close by. Alexa's a great host, taking great care to ensure your stay is a pleasant one and that you have everything you need. She's very attentive and looks after you. The house is old with lots of character and the room is nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is large and well-appointed, with excellent facilities. I would happily stay here again if the need arose.

An excellent place to stay!

I had an awesome stay at Anne's, and had a great time with Bam Bam! The room is incredibly clean, and just as the picture shows. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly.

When I arrived at Anne's house it was late evening but Anne made me most welcome with a cup of tea and a chat about my work. The room was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. My work load did not allow me much time to chat with Anne or explore the neighbourhood. What I required was a bed local to my work placement and at low cost, Anne's room ticked both boxes.

My stay at Kathy's was SO delightful. I was in Bedford for a running competition at the local athletics track, and travelling around with competing can be so tiring. I was slightly later than expected because of traffic, but communicating with Kathy was so easy and she was very accommodating about the changed check-in time. She showed me around her lovely house, explaining I was able to use anything I liked in the kitchen in terms of food. The bathroom was clean and large and you can have a shower and even a bath here - a great option to have after travelling. She showed me to my room which was incredibly clean, spacious and bright. There was a kettle for me to make tea and the bed was right next to a long window which meant there was lots of natural light in the room. It was a quiet area in a new housing estate and there were some local shops, plus there was a waterfront was only a few streets away and a large park around the corner, also. The house felt very homely and I would highly recommend coming here again if you would like to feel 'at home away from home'. I did not go in to the centre but I could clearly see that there were signs to the city centre just around the corner and bus routes along the main roads just outside the house. I will definitely be staying here again when I come to Bedford.

Firstly 5 stars are not enough. From our first communication through to our last I found Kathy to be a warm hearted and welcoming person. Her home was immaculate throughout and from the offset I was made to feel incredibly welcome. I spent the best part of two weeks with Kathy. My only regret is that due to my work hours I didn't get to spend as much time chatting as I would have liked. A definite first choice for me if I ever find myself Bedford bound again.

Deanna and her husband Gareth were great host for my short trip and very welcoming! Also a great local pub very close, just a shame England couldn't beat Iceland while I was there!

Deanna and Gareth welcomed me very friendly and provided everything I could have needed, such as a TV, internet access and a nice little breakfast in the morning included permission to use the kitchen. They always asked if I needed anything and made me feel very comfortable. The residence was just as pictured and a bus stop is close by, but in need it is central so I could just take a little walk to town. All in all its was a lovely place to stay and I recommend it!

We had the best time. They made us feel like home. Super comfy bed, everything was clean, they welcome us with water and treats in the room. The house is very clean, always a nice smell, big beautiful patio. They help us a lot with not only directions buy with many more stuff. Dee is absolutely lovely, and her husband Garreth too, even their cat Loki was bringing us presents. This place was awesome, nice little tea garden very close to the house, and a pub too. The best place, with the best people. I'll totally recommend it!!! Thank you guys we really love our staying and we will be back.

Deanna and Gareth are very welcoming and very friendly. The twin bedroom was lovely and exactly as pictured. They allow use of the house - dining room, kitchen, lounge and even provide breakfast - cereals, bread, fruit. There's a friendly cat in the house too. There are some shops nearby (about 10 minute walk away, including Morrisons supermarket). It's a 25-30 minute walk away from my workplace and I relished the opportunity to walk to and from work. I really enjoyed my stay and will be returning again. Thank you Deanna and Gareth.

Joyce has a lovely quiet home with everything you'll need for a short stay. We met up with family a short drive away for dinner and Joyce was able to give us details of a taxi firm that turned out to be very cheap. Joyce also gave us a plentiful continental spread the next morning. Joyce was very welcoming and friendly, and nothing felt like too much to ask. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely request to stay with Joyce!

The flat was very nice, cosy and clean and it was easy to park in front of the building. We only stayed one night at the flat but that was enough to feel Nicky and Fay's warmth and hospitality. We lost some documents and they helped us solve the problem which saved us a lot of time. They also had an abundant breakfast prepared for us in the morning. We would love to return to Nicky and Fay's place in the future.
