A 2 minute walk from the local pub with regular street food, 5 minute walk from the river and 10 minutes from the shops, restaurants and train station in Pangbourne (direct trains to London in approx. 50 mins). Free parking is available and the room has a patio and outdoor seating area. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided but there is no fridge or kitchen.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

Our annexe is light and spacious and people have told me the photographs do not do it justice!! We are just 2 minutes walk to a lovely local thatched pub, and a couple of minutes drive to other restaurants and dining, public transport and family-friendly activities in the centre of Pangbourne which has a station (trains to London take 35 mins via Reading) It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families with children.
