In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

Here you live directly on the parallel road to the shore on the Havel, where you are on the beach in 1 minute to go directly with the SUP or to picnic comfortably and cool off in between. The apartment has a fireplace, which is also inviting in the cold season. In 5 minutes you can walk across the bridge to the bicycle and boat rental Krüger&Till, where you can take great tours through the Brandenburg countryside. With the regional train you are quickly in Potsdam (8 min) and Berlin 38 min.

Our 4-room apartment on the 2nd floor is located in one of the most beautiful places in Werder - in the middle of the beautiful island. Here you will find the old town with former fishermen's houses, pretty alleys, churches, a historic mill and small shops. Everything is surrounded by greenery and water. Near the apartment there is a bakery, restaurants, cafes and a boat and bicycle rental. From Werder you can reach Potsdam and Berlin by train and car in less than 30 minutes.

You’ll be picked up by dinghy in Werder (Havel) and experience genuine Robinson Crusoe vibes on this little gem. Nature lovers and peace seekers will certainly get their money's worth in Paretz; whether walking in the nature reserve of the "Paretzer Erdlöcher" or relaxing at the Havel swimming area, which can be reached in just a 10-minute walk.
